A. Pros ide steeple/cupola work shown on the drawings, as specifiedheroin. and with General Conditions and SupplementaryConditions.

1.02 SUBtMITTALSA. Submit shop drawings designed in accordance with local building

code requirements. Upon approval. general contractor shall sendto field or job-site supenntendent copy of final approved shopdraw ings.

A. Use adequate number ot skilled workmen who are thoroughlytrained and experienced in the necessary crafts, for proper per-formance ot the work ot this Section.

2.02 MATIRIALSA. Use structural steel products according to ASTM specificationsB. Use structural aluminum products according to the Construction

Manual of the Aluminum Association, Inc.. and shall be alloy6061 -T6.

C. Use .0.32' aluminum cladding. 3003-H 14 alloy. with availablestock finishes. 2) oz. cold rolled copper cladding. 20 oz. leadcoated copper cladding, or .027 microzinc cladding.

2.03 ACCESSORIESA. Cast. staitip. lomi, and/or spin special oraments such as cross,

finial. weathersane. louers. cortices. mouldings. wuindoi. frames,etc in accordance with good a.nd acceptable practices, and inaccordance with approved drawings.

2.04 FABiRICAIIONA. Fabricate structural steel framing to conform to AWS standards.B. Fabricatc structural alumittutim Iratitig v ith cold driven aluminum

nvets. Ihiiting welding to secondarN architectural tutembersC. Form all exterior cladding with good atid acceptable sheet metal

anchoring materials are provided and installed by others.2.05 FINISHES

A. Use aluminum skin with Kynar 5(X) finishes, from manufacturer'sstock colors ot white. sandstone, medium bronze, cream, colonialwhite. sory, and/or patina green.

B. Shop finish all aluminutmt castings. stampings. spinnings. andaccessories. Units shall be caustic etched. printed uith 2 heavycoats ot primer, and finished Writh 2 heasy coats minitimum ofindustial vinyl or enamel finish electrostatically applied and airdned.

C. Clean all copper, lead coated copper or microzinc to weathernaturally.

D. Paint all aluminum surfaces in contact with steel with one heavycoat of zinc prituter. atid paint all steel surfaces with 2 heavy coatsred lead or zinc chromate, followed by one coat of aluminized bit-minous paint.

2.06 CAlUIKINGA. Cleatn atnd dry all surfaces to be caulked.B. Use silicone caulking by Dow Coming, or approved equal.

A. Veriny that site conditions are suitable and accessible for deliveryand installation. and that all preparatory work is in place in accor-dance .hth approved shop drawings before delivery and installation.
