Thinking of becoming a buy to let investor? The rental sector continues to grow at a rapid pace. In 2006 there were 2.4 million homes within the private rental sector across the UK. By 2011 this had increased to 4.2 million, and it is anticipated that 7 million rental properties will be required by 2021 to satisfy the ever increasing demand from tenants. It is inevitable that as a result, levels of rent will continue to increase over the longer term, as will property prices. Therefore, those landlords that have invested in buy-to-let property can not only enjoy a regular income from the rent generated, but also benefit from long term capital growth. Beresfords have been advising people from all walks of life on buying to let for many years now, and have fulfilled the dreams of 100s of individuals to not only buy their first investment property, but in many cases, develop a portfolio. We will shortly be running a number of free buy-to-let seminars offering general advice in terms of how and where to start. Attendees will be provided with an overview of the entire process from start to finish. The relevant dates, times and venue of our next sessions are listed on the following page. Should you have an interest in attending, then please nominate your first and second choice and provide confirmation of this by email to Debbie Palmer, email [email protected]. Rest assured we will do our very best to accommodate you, but places are limited so a prompt response is strongly advised.
