VISA REQUIREMENTS FOR BUSINESSMEN

1. Two copies of Application Form (signed by the applicant) with three recent photographs.

2. Photocopy of valid Passport, including all valid visas.3. Thorough explanation of the reason to visit Argentina:

a. Letter of assignment signed by company manager stating purpose of trip and the same is carried out by the sending company.

b. Letter of introduction by the concerned Chamber of Commerce.c. Full identification of the Argentine business partner (Commercial

name, address, telephone and name of the manager responsible.) The letter should state the time the guest will spend in Argentina, purpose and personal information of him/her.The invitee must be register with RENURE (Unified National Register of Persons/Institutions Inviting Foreigners) as per the immigration law. For this registration the invitee must contact DNM (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones).

4. Updated bank statement with balance of the last year.5. Photocopy of International Credit Card, if available.6. Flight Itinerary: Ticket, E-TKT or booking by travel agent. 7. Hotel Reservation or accommodation arrangements which must be

coinciding with flight itinerary.


VISA APPLICATION PROCESS – INSTRUCTION

1. Submit complete applications including all relevant documents. Submission Days: Monday to Wednesday from 09:00 hrs.-12:00hrs.

2. Application process fee: Rs. 1500/- (to be paid in cash with the submission of the application).

3. Schedule of personal interview with the Visa Officer. No Application will be processed without a personal

interview. Interview days: Monday to Thursday from 10:00hrs. - 12:00hrs.

4. After the personal interview, requires 10 days for the decision of the Visa Application to be communicated.

a. Argentine Embassy does not retain Passports during processing time.

b. Starting the visa application process well in advance from the traveling date increases the chances of obtaining a positive answer.

5. Once notified of Visa approval, applicants have 30 days to present the Passport in the Consular Section; or else a new application must be submitted.

6. Visa Fee: USD 50 (to be deposited in Standard Chartered Bank, only after the intimation of visa approval by the Consular Section.)
