We are delighted to introduce you to our latest products through our new Jaguar Land Rover Fleet & Business range brochure. This is a very exciting time for us with the launch of a succession of new products into the business sector over the coming months.

Our vision is to become the Fleet & Business premium manufacturer of choice and to support this we continue to invest heavily in our products, people, and facilities. This is demonstrated through our ongoing investment of £3.5 billion in new product development and infrastructure in 2015/16.

Our sales success to date has been strong with a doubling of our sales over the last three years and a plan to further grow our business through to 2020.

To succeed in this highly competitive sector our products are developed with the Fleet & Business customer requirements in mind; appealing design, low CO2 and Total Cost of Ownership are combined to make a compelling proposition.

You’ll see from the brochure that we have a comprehensive range of products across our two brands Jaguar and Land Rover. We would ask you to seriously consider us for your business and invite you to contact one of our Fleet & Business Sales managers in your country for more information.

We have won over 120 international awards, including both the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade and the award for Responsible Business of the Year, in recognition of our global sales performance and the positive ways in which Jaguar Land Rover contributes to society. Our business, like our cars, is inspired by our core values of outstanding quality, efficiency and enlightened innovation.

A I M I N G H IG HIn the last three years Jaguar Land Rover has seen overseas sales double from 274,280 vehicles sold in 2011 to 462,678 vehicles sold in 2014.

On the back of this continuing sales success and through an investment of £3.5 billion in product development and facilities, we have become the UK’s biggest investor in manufacturing Research and Development.

Our commitment to quality, craftsmanship and service has led to Jaguar being named Best Brand for a third successive year in the What Car? / J.D. Power 2014 survey, and in fulfilling our social responsibilities

as a leading global company, we have implemented award-winning sustainability initiatives and sponsored a host of community programmes.

In investing in the next generation to shape our future and continue our success, we have developed an award-winning apprenticeship scheme, which has become one of the leading pathways into careers in the automotive industries.

The story of Jaguar Land Rover is one of two very different manufacturers who created two very different types of vehicle. And yet the similarities between the two marques go beyond their British origins and their iconic status. Both were founded by men with exceptional vision that changed the face of automotive design, both harnessed the most cutting-edge technology available at the time, and both employed an astonishingly cohesive design ethos to push the boundaries of vehicle capability.

Sir William Lyons started building sidecars for motorcycles in the 1920s. In a time when sidecars were little more than boxes, Lyons’ appreciation of aesthetics, precision engineering and aerodynamic design inspired him to create bullet shaped sidecars, allowing better handling than ever before.

Maurice Wilks was inspired by wartime army Jeeps. After the war, he realised how useful 4x4 vehicles would be in coping with the demands of farming.

With these defining principles at the core of his design philosophy, Lyons built his first ‘Jaguar’, the SS100, in 1935. This incredible roadster, which could comfortably reach a hundred miles per hour, delivered high performance and instinctive handling – qualities that were to become the DNA on which future Jaguar cars would be created. The Le Mans winning C-Type and D-Type, and later the iconic E-Type, were to become timeless embodiments of this sentiment. Through the latter half of the 20th century and right through to the present day, Lyons’ design philosophy has remained a hallmark of great Jaguar cars, and can clearly be seen in the sensuous lines and vital performance of the F-TYPE.

In 1947, he persuaded Rover to let him create the first Land Rover. In a time of rationing, the first Land Rover vehicles were created from aluminium, because steel was hard to come by and painted with surplus green aircraft paint. Wilks’ vision was to build a car that was affordable, capable, simple to fix and economical to maintain. Its panels were flat so that they were cheap and easy to replace and the chassis was no more than a simple box section ladder frame. However, the ingenuity of its simplicity quickly won its way into the hearts of the nation.

Jaguar and Land Rover succeeded by making cars that excelled in what they were designed to do.

As the UK’s biggest investor in manufacturing research and development, Jaguar Land Rover supports thousands of engineers in developing world-class innovations to improve every part of our business.

The two marques were brought together over time through acquisition by various automotive parent companies, and together developed a host of further illustrious vehicles. These have included: the Range Rover, XJS, Discovery, Freelander and XK8. In 2008 Tata Motors saw the incredible potential of Jaguar Land Rover, and bought the business, investing heavily in research and development to further establish both marques at the forefront of British automotive excellence. Under this new direction a host of state-of-the-art new models have been created. Employing cutting-edge technology, innovation and engineering in their design, these successful new models have helped turn Jaguar Land Rover into Britain’s largest premium automotive manufacturer.

Innovations such as state-of-the-art 3D design labs, which cut the time and expense involved in making new vehicles, and Virtual Customer Experience Technology, which allows potential buyers to interact with and spec vehicles on life-size screens at dealerships.

In developing intelligent on-road and off-road driving solutions for the motorists of tomorrow, we are working on prospective technologies, which include: remote control off-road driving, predictive gesture and voice control activation, smart glass that transforms the connectivity of the interior experience, and semi-autonomous driving systems for safer roads.

The accolade recognises our continued investment to improve our environmental performance and increase skills and opportunities for employees and young people.

In our efforts to take better care of the environment, we have taken steps to use more recycled aluminium in our manufacturing, and made a commitment to produce more efficient engines that offer more performance with less fuel and lower emissions.

In our role as a major employer in the UK, we’re also helping to tackle youth unemployment: our ‘Inspiring Tomorrow’s Workforce’ initiative is an enhanced traineeship programme offering work experience, training and qualifications to help unemployed young people unlock their potential.

On the manufacturing side, we have cut water usage in our factories by 70%, achieved a 54% reduction in total waste sent to landfill, and created the world’s largest rooftop solar panel system at our Engine Manufacturing Centre in Wolverhampton: more than 21,000 photovoltaic panels

produce over 30% of the centre’s energy requirements.

We are also committed to sourcing more recycled aluminium in our manufacturing, and regularly meet with our top 200 suppliers to ensure they too follow our sustainability best practices.

Since 2007 we have been working to reduce our EU fleet average exhaust CO2 emissions by 25% by 2015. In 2013, our EU fleet average was 182g/km, which represents a 24% reduction since 2007, meaning we are on track to meet our target.

We have achieved these reductions through a host of innovations that make our vehicles more efficient. Innovations like our new Ingenium engine, which in XE can achieve a fuel economy as low as 3.8l/100km with CO2 emissions from 99g/km.

Jaguar Land Rover supports many charities that do vital work addressing issues of health, human rights, conservation and sustainability. In backing ClimateCare’s “LifeStraw Carbon for Water” project, in the Busia region of Kenya, we became the first business to support a complete geographic region in

this project, reducing carbon emissions and providing safe drinking water for over 700,000 people. We have also donated Land Rover vehicles to both the International Red Cross and the conservation charity, Born Free, to assist them in their vital work in some of the most challenging environments in the world.

At Jaguar Land Rover we understand the importance of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) when it comes to choosing vehicles for your company’s fleet.

H I G H PE R FOR M A N CE , LOW R UN N I N G COSTS

That’s why we consider TCO in the design and development of our vehicles right from the start. As an example, XE has been developed using our Aluminium Intensive Architecture to make it lighter and more efficient. It is also available with our new super efficient range of Ingenium diesel engines, which can achieve fuel economy as low as 3.8l/100km and CO2 emissions from 99g/km.

From insurance and servicing costs to depreciation values, fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, Total Cost of Ownership is considered when developing every one of our vehicles.

After depreciation*, Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) costs can be the second-largest expense associated with running a fleet.

S E RV I C E , MAINTENANCE A N D R E PA I R

So with each new generation of vehicle, Jaguar Land Rover looks to reduce servicing and repair requirements through the use of new technologies and synthetic lubricants. Our vehicles are also designed for longer service intervals and ease of access, which keeps maintenance and running costs low. *Source: Eurotax
