The aim of this qualification is to allow learnersto utilise business administration skills alongsidegaining an understanding of the legalenvironment therefore allowing them theopportunity to work across two sectors. Thegrowing legal sector is increasingly looking foradministors to support their needs and thisqualification aims to develop the skillsrequired. 

Level 2 focuses on skills requiring greaterresponsibility as an administrator, such asunderstanding the requirements businessadministration services within the legalenvironment.

On completion learners will gain the skills andknowledge required to progress to Level 3Business Administration, Level 3 LegalSecretaries, Level 2 Legal Studies and Level 3Awards in Paralegal. In addition, they may alsoprogress onto the Level 3 AdvancedApprenticeship in Business andAdministration.

Learners must complete all 4 mandatoryunits.

The mandatory units are made up of three business administration units with onelegal environment unit, this allows the leaner to be fully equiped with genericadminstrative understanding yet have a knowledge of the legal sector to supporttheir skills in this area.

Units are assessed via online multpliechoice questions. Assessment is availablethrough the City & Guilds e-assessmentplatform e-volve.

The three business units have dual assessment so centres can choose assignment oronline multiple choice, this does not apply to the Legal Environment. e-volve cuts thetime spent marking and reduces your paperwork. E-volve is flexible and improvessuccess as candidates only complete when they are ready.

Our support resources include: a freeQualification Handbook and AssessmentPack, online tutor and learner support viaSmartScreen, our e-portfolio LearningAssistant and personal support. 

SmartScreen helps tutors save time planning and supports learners in order to drivegreater quality and better success rates.

Learning Assistant helps save time and money by increasing learner completion ratesby up to 40% over paper delivery.
