Working within Georgia’s twelve service delivery regions, Georgia DOL’s RegionalCoordinators share resources, ideas, and vision to create a synergy that brings people, ideas,and information together.
Serve as the point person for the Georgia Department of Labor
Promote Career Center, Vocational Rehabilitation and Workforce Investment Services
Serve as DOL liaisons for the business and economic development communities
Address the workforce needs in each community

Press – advertise via Jobs TV and Social Media (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook)
GDOL Posters/Flyers – print color/black and white flyers and 2’ x 3’ posters
Job Postings – enter position openings into internet data base for recruitment
Candidate Screening and Interviews
Resumes Screened – GDOL staff time
Interviews Conducted by GDOL Staff
Assessments – per company request
Invitations Sent to Qualified Candidates – Emails, mail outs
Job Readiness Event
Event Coordination – securing event site; set up and break down; staff travel and per diem
Workshops Conducted – Interviewing Skills, Resumes, Using Social Media for Job Search, Dress for Success, Job Search after 40, How to Market Yourself at a Job Fair, etc.
Career Expo/Recruitment Event
Coordination of Event – set up/break down; staff travel and per diem
GDOL Staff Assistance During Hiring Event – assisting employers and job seekers during event

Customized recruitment is a specialized program of work for theBusiness Services Unit of the Georgia Department of Labor, offeringemployers individualized recruitment assistance targeted towardsstreamlining employer search processes for the best qualifiedcandidates in their open positions.

to: [email protected]• Screen applicants, recruit for job opening, deny applicant
