PREAMBLE

Entrepreneurship is a source of employment and local development. It Iis a key word for the economic growth in many African countries. It drives to the empowerment and boosts the entrepreneurship mindset. Cameroon, a central African country, hasn’t escape to that development scheme. Thanks to its tropical climate and its fertile grounds, the country has is a good asset for an agricultural business. As matter of fact, the Littoral region has numerous plantations holding by private companies. Furthermore the government is encouraging

agriculture towards many programs leaded led by the Ministry of Small and Medium Size enterprises, the Ministry of agriculture, and the Ministry of territory administration. Apart of from that, some development local partners are dedicated to reinforce the agricultural investment (i.e CARBAP).

COL’VERT is an agricultural holding that seized the opportunity to produce and export some local crops such as sweet plantain, cocoa, hot pepper, paprika and so on. The field is located in Douala in the south in an area called Mamba. Near Close to the field, there is an International centre for research in the production of bananas

named CARBAP, which is another asset for the COL’VERT’s activities.

Nevertheless, the company has committed itself to exporting its crops so that it couldwith the primary aim of entering many other african markets and by the same occasion, whilst extending its activities to a wide range of products. For that reason, COL’VERT decided to write this business plan in order to develop the exportation of local crops in particular to South Africa thanks to a partnership with a private entrepreneur located in South Africa. The partnership will obviously create new jobs both in Cameroon and the partner’s country, South Africa. This business plan aims to design the exportation project and to look for the appropriated fund.

I. THE PROJECT

The project is focused on the exportation of many products from Cameroon to South Africa. Some of those products are produced by COL’VERT and whilst others notare produced from local partners. This is due to the fact that the company has some

Chipo Ngongoni, 06/04/15,
Why dont you write the whole abbreviation out, it’s more powerful as some people don’t know these organistations that are being mentioned
