• Phase 1 of the University’s business intelligence (BI) portal Reports launches on June 1, 2017, introducing trend and ad-hoc reporting on current and historical data.

• Five years (FY13 to FY17) of detailed transactional financial data will be available and viewable in different report formats using the Financial Records System (FRS) format

analysis and longitudinal reporting

• Starting September 1, 2017, the reports will be available using both, FRS and Workday’s Financial Data Model (FDM) formats.

• Fiscal Year 2018 data from Workday will also be loaded nightly into the data warehouse.

Workday

• Standard, delivered reports and custom reports for fiscal year 2018 will be available in Workday for FY2018 beginning with Finance go-live (on-demand and operational reports)

• Single Sign-On (SSO) and DUO

• If you are accessing the BI portal while connecting from a network external to UM:

1. Connect to VPN

2. Connect to see BI portal reports

• Data visibility is based on FRS security

• Starting September 1, 2017, security will be based on Workday security roles
