Technology Policy● IITP creates new R&D paradigms by expanding its role for policy development and by analyzing the link between industry and technology

● IITP extends its overall support for the Ministry of Science and ICT in developing ICT strategies and builds policy infrastructure to develop the policies, and monitors the program implementation progress

● IITP provides statistical analysis and reports covering various policy, industrial, and technological domains

● IITP operates ICT Device Lab helping entrepreneurs turn their ideas into viable products and seize business opportunities

Technology Planning● IITP develops ICT R&D implementation strategies and technical development plans for each of the top 10 technological domains *PM(Project Manager): ICT device, mobile communication, network, SW-based computing, SW, converged service, radio-wave satellite, broadcasting and smart media, digital contents, and cyber security

● IITP plans new initiatives to develop the world’s best fundamental technologies that are critical to ICT in order to overhaul the R&D planning system and to strengthen the link among different R&D programs

● IITP delivers platforms on which various ideas can be materialized into R&D plans, future scenarios for the society, and prototypes

Technology Commercialization● IITP valuates technologies to foster the trade of promising technologies, specifically those that meet the needs of business entities, then support their commercialization

R&D Evaluation ● IITP develops evaluation schemes with elements of openness and customization, emphasizes the function of evaluation, and invites more competent evaluators

● IITP awards innovative R&D projects using the bottom-up approach and adopted quality management metrics for better evaluation to further improve the evaluation management system

● IITP tries its best to boost up its competitive edge across the broad spectrum of the national society by seeking collaborations with government ministries and synergy between science and ICT industries
