Business Idea AssessmentYou’ve got a great idea for a new business or a new product/service for your
existing business. How do you know whether or not to pursue it? Use the wheel below to honestly assess how much work it will take and whether you have the resources needed to make it happen.
Mark each section of the wheel according to how confident you feel in that section on a scale of 0 (no confidence) to 10 (total confidence.) See page 2 for a sample.

Sample Business Idea Assessment
In this example, Brad was trying to figure out whether or not to launch a blog on a topic he is passion-ate about. You can see that parts of the process where a clear 10 but others like time and community would both offer big challenges. Ultimately he decided the challenges were ones he could overcome
and launched LowCarbEndurance.com. But he first got really honest about what he would need to do, learn or invest in to move forward.
One of Minette’s favorite things to do is walk people through this assessment to help them validate their business idea. If you’d like to schedule a “Is This a Good Idea” Strategy Session with Minette,
