Project Proposals

#1 – Business Cards;

This Company has a business card, but since the tourism is a new branch within

the company, the business card only entitled antique branch and design for that. I came

up with an idea for tourism branch business card. It will design and look creative since I

study advertising, I think I can handle this great and it will help me gain experience on

this field. It will help my supervisor to earn more costumers in her tourism branch. I’m

going to use psychological aspect on this business card. I am going to try to use of color

of meaning that can attract people. I am going to try to make card that is going to have

different places on each card. Especially the places that tourist’s loves, every card is

going to have different attraction of tourism.

#2 – Flyers for the upcoming tour;

Turkey have good places to ski around December and January; it is called Uludag,

Bursa. There are numerous hotels and ski-run in there. A lot of people call tourism

branches to schedule around the winter time. It is always packed in there. Recently, I got

and email inquiring about this event, so I came up with the idea of doing flyer for this

tour. A lot of tourism agencies have flyer for this event, and why not we do that too? It

will attract more customers for this tour, and I think I can make this flyer interesting with

my creativeness. I’m going to use psychological aspect of marketing. I am going to look

at marketing ideas, and how to sale it. Some extreme thing can be stuck in people that

people never forget and I am going to try to portrait that on this flyer.

Narrative Analysis of Results:

Business Card Samples;

#1 – Front Side of the business cards;

There are ten different business cards, but the concept is the same. All ten cards have the top ten tourism attractions in Turkey. They are the most famous and known ones in Turkey. In our tourism branch, we provide tours to all of those attractions I provided on the card. For example;

The business card #1 is Patara and it is one of the longest stretches of sandy beach found anywhere in the Mediterranean. The beach is backed only by ancient Lycian and Roman ruins and swooping dunes with no buildings visible except of a small café. Patara Beach is also the breeding ground of the endangered Loggerhead turtle. The nearby village of Patara was the birthplace of St Nicholas, the 4th-century Byzantine bishop who later passed into legend as Santa Claus. Our tourism branch which is Nilantik has tour there. We actually have contract with Mavi tour that provides our guest a relaxing sailing trip along the Aegean and the Mediterranean coast, through impeccably clear turquoise waters, in and out of countless isolated bays and coves, visiting the harbors of small picturesque villages and weaving along a coastline rich in mythological ruins of distant times gone by.

The business card #2 is Aspendos boasts and it is one of the best preserved ancient theatres of antiquity. The theatre of Aspendos was built in 155 AD during the rule of the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius and could seat between 15,000 and 20,000 spectators. Because the stage area was later used as a caravanserai (a roadside inn) in Seljuk times, it was continuously repaired and maintained. Thus, the Aspendos Theatre has been able to survive to this days without losing almost any of its original qualities. Aspendos is located on Cappadocia. We have a lot of costumers and we provided numerous tours to there.

#2 – Backsides of the business cards;

The reason why I have calendar on the backsides of the business cards is because, this way the costumers can decide what day they would like to tour with us and mark it on the exact date. It is important for us to know if the costumer keeping our card or just wasting. I am trying to prevent our customers to not throw away our business cards, but actually using it. The business can be known with simple advertising and its creative ideas on it. The costumers sometimes like simple things and that will help us to be known more. I also made all calendars different style on every business card because the front of

the business card has different pictures. Every business card I made is different style but same information.
