Various versions have evolved over the years, some-times by accident, sometimes on purpose (injected humour and the like).
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old.

She was hiking alone and fell 40 feet after a slip. As she was suffering from her injuries and heat exhaustion, the hiker saw a group of rafters and used her whistle to get their attention. Subsequently, the rafters called for help, and the hiker was rescued.
