INTRODUCTION
Busbar Trunking System for electrical distribution is an alternative to cumbersome conventional cable distribution system. Decentrilized distribution is the main highlight of this distribution system.
This system eliminates separate requirement of distribution and panel boards. Can be installed quickly with minimum technical expertise and have good aesthetics.
Any section of bustrunking can be removed without disturbing adjacent sections.
System is maintenance free.
AIR INSULATED TYPE
BUSBAR TRUNKING SYSTEM
(125A-2000A)
DESCRIPTION
Air insulated type Busbar trunking system is compact design is the most efficient, safe and ideal system for electricity supply to industrial installations.
current range from 125A to 2000A in type CBC (copper conductor) and 160A to 1250A in type CBA (aluminium conductor).
The system has provision for 4 plug-in outlets per meter.
The system has been designed especially for installation and projects where power supply has to be made available rapidly.
These are most suitable for applications where exact location and power consumption is not sure possible changes in physical distribution of loads.
Small, compact and rigid construction. Automatic polarity maintained throughout the system
during installation. Pleasant Light Grey Powder finish on rust proof
enclosure. System can be mounted edgewise or flatwise,
horizontally or vertically in any direction with all kinds of bends, tees and crosses.
Inside the bus trunking, busbars are supported at every 250 mm for rigid and shockproof construction.
Un-drilled busbars of two sections can be joined together by joint Clamp using HTS bolts.
SALIENT FEATURES
All plug-in boxes are compatible with all ratings of bus trunking.
Safe, easy and quick plug-in / plug-out possible on live bustrunking.
Considerable saving in installation and operational cost.
Temperature rise on enclosure for all ratings is 25°C max. for safety of operators.
SANDWICH INSULATED TYPE

(400A-6600A)
DESCRIPTION Sandwich insulated type Busbar trunking system is
compact design is the ideal system for electricity supply to
industrial installations and high rise structure.
current range from 630A to 6600A in type SBC(copper conductor) and 400A to 5000A in type SBA(aluminium conductor) with possibility of feeding loads upto 800A
with standard plug- in boxes.
The system has been designed especially for installation and
projects where power supply has to be made available rapidly.
SALIENT FEATURES Close proximity of busbars reduces inductive
reactance, resistance, impedance and voltage drop is much lower than cable and any other busbar system.
Specially designed housing act as a heat sink to yield improved thermal characteristic, high mechanical and short circuit strength.
Busbar system has no chimney effect, hence provide a better resistance to the spread of fire.
Automatic polarity is maintained during installation.
Busbars does not generate electromagnetic interference on data system.

SHEET METAL FABRICATION
The product is protected and concealed in an enclosure made of GI sheet of 1.6mm thick.
Product is processed in CNC machine for giving it desired shape.
Some of the elements like bends, tees and other item which required welding are processed in :-
1. MIG welding machine
2. Projection welding
3. Grinding and sandering section
4.Powder coating
BUSBAR PREPARATION
Raw material for conductor is either
1. Aluminium- 99.5% pure with 65% conductivity
2. Copper- 99.9% pure with 98% min. conductivity
Cutting and sizing of busbar The cut to length busbar is then buffed in buffing
machine Reason for buffing the busbar
1. to minimize the wavyness
2. to remove surface dust ingress
3. to clean pilling & sink marks The busbar/conductor then plated with tin(Sn)
BUSBAR BENDING Buffed & plated busbar are bent on CNC busbar
bending machine to give desired shape.
BUSBAR INSULATION
Insulation done with polyester & glass mica of 4 layers of 0.125mm thick per side. Then secured with self adhesive polyester tape.
TESTING HV Test:- This is routine test conducted on all 100%
product at 5KV for one minute.
Temperature Rise test:- The temperature rise allowed in the product
as per 1EC standard is ambient +45° rise, this is tested for almost 12 hrs & above
AREA OF USES/APPLICATIONS
Transmission of power from transformer/generator to switchboard
Distribution of power in manufacturing industries, substations , malls , hotels etc.
During training period I get a learning experience and acquired valuable knowledge about busbar trunking system.
