Valentine’s Day is a time for people to gather and cherish friendship. Enjoy this holiday with the entire family by planning some fun activities. There are so many entertaining activities to choose from like crafts, games, and gifts you can give to each other. Here are some fun tips for how to celebrate Valentine’s Day with your kids:Gather all your kids and make some thumbprint heart cookies. This will be a fun activity to do with your kids since most kids love cookies! Buy some heart-shaped cookie cutters, cookie mix, red thick icing, and some Valentine sprinkles. Make some Valentine crafts with your kids. There are many crafts that you can make. For example, make an easy Valentine’s Day bookmark to give to someone special. It’s very simple - just use a wooden craft stick and paint it red. Then, trace and cut one large and two small hearts out of red and pink paper. Glue the small hearts on top of the large heart. How about playing and learning with Valentine conversation hearts. Gather all your kids and have some fun! Have a family game night. Get together and spend some quality time with your kids and share some laughter over a game However you decide to celebrate this day, make it a memorable one with teachings of love, friendship, kindness, and family unity.

Valentine's Day is one of the romantic days of the year. Unfortunately it is also one of the most commercialized holidays of the year as well. From Hallmark cards, to heart hugging teddy bears, there are thousands of gifts out there which all end up looking pretty much the same.

All is not lost though, with these five simple tips we will help you weed out the vast majority of mass produced fare, to give your loved one something a little special this year. What Does Your Partner Love? One of the most important factors in choosing a perfect Valentine's day gift is making sure that you show that you know what your partner loves. Their favorite color, animal, flower or even food can be transformed in to an amazing gift. The important thing is being able to show how much you listen to and care about your loved one.Memories from the PastA great way of making your gift just a little bit more special is by linking to your past experiences with your loved one. A picture from a past vacation, a small bit of memorabilia, or something that originated from a place you have travelled to. It doesn't have to be from far away, you gift could incorporate something as small as a trinket from your favorite romantic restaurant.TraditionNothing makes a gift more special than tradition. Something you share together can become even more special year after year. A tradition that is special between you and your partner can grow even more special. Traditions could be as small as sending two cards a year, or giving a little trinket along with your main Valentine's Day gift.Make it PersonalA small engraving, a short message, or a memorable photograph can help personalize a gift, helping show just how much it truly is from the heart. Personalization may take a little extra effort, but it is well worth the effort.Make it a Little UniqueVariety is the spice of life. Adding a unique touch can help give a little element of the unexpected. Making a few changes, or even finding a gift which is totally out of the ordinary can help create the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
