recognise their cultures, histories and ongoing relationship and obligations to the land and waterways.

We recognise their traditional homelands or “Country” remains a pivotal aspect of their Lore, identity, culture and well-being. There have always been linguistic, social and legal boundaries

and a range of protocols regarding entering and crossing borders.

Acknowledging Country is a way for visitors to offer respect. It is believed if you look after Country it will, in return, look after you.

In the spirit of reconciliation, Macquarie Park Cemetery and Crematorium acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land, the Darug People. The spirit of the Durag can be found

across the landscape of this region and we honour the memory of their ancestors.

PLANNING AHEADMany families choose to benefit by planning ahead and securing positions at today’s prices in a not-for-profit community cemetery. This gives them peace of mind knowing that requests will be honoured and family members will be saved from making difficult decisions at an emotional time.

COPING WITH LOSSAt a difficult time, it is good to have a support network of friends and family – we can provide a range of additional information and support. Please visit our website for further information.

OUR FACILITIES• Chapels – we have five impressive chapels which

seat between 35 and 200 with extra outdoor seating. They all include high quality fittings and the latest AV equipment including free live streaming for those unable to attend.

• Wallumatta Function Centre – this recently completed state of the art function facility offers high quality light filled spaces with terraces overlooking Lane Cove National Park.

• Carparking – excellent carparking facilities are available including ample disabled spaces.

• Café and Florist – serving a variety of hot and cold beverages, delicious dine in and take away food including daily specials with indoor and outdoor seating. For smaller family groups the café can assist with after funeral catering. The florist has a beautiful variety of arrangements available or can make one for you on request.

Most importantly our team pride themselves on looking after our families with the highest standards of care and service.

Lawn MonumentalOur impressive lawn monumental burial sites include a polished granite headstone

with either a natural or a 23-carat gold leaf inscription. You can select your personalised headstone from a variety of shapes and colours included in the package.

Living Legacy TreeCreating a Living Legacy offers an everlasting and environmentally friendly

memorialisation option where organically processed cremated ashes help promote tree growth. You are involved in choosing the location, selecting your preferred tree species,

personalising your plaque, and organising the tree planting ceremony with treated ashes. Family Trees can hold up to four sets of ashes. For every Living Legacy tree arranged

Northern Cemeteries donate an additional 200 saplings to be planted around the world.


Bush Rock Garden EstatesThoughtfully positioned throughout the park under majestic trees, these family estates

can accommodate up to eight sets of ashes. Memorialise members of your family together with a customised family name plate and personalised individual plaques.


Bush Rock GardenThis garden offers you and your partner a peaceful natural bush setting where

you can be memorialised together. Each site includes a specially selected natural bush rock and features a bronze plaque.


Garden of EternitySelecting a memorial in our impressively designed Garden of Eternity will bring good fortune and longevity for you and your family, both now and for future generations.


Ascension PathwaySituated at the crest of Ascension Hill, and featuring expansive views of the park, this

premium granite ash site includes dual interment and two granite vases.


Casuarina GroveThese sites are designed for families who want to be memorialised together. There is a choice of four or six interments, and you can select the colour of your preferred granite

heart, cross or book headstone.


Family Ash HousesHaving a family site enables relatives to have their ashes placed together in the

same location for eternity. This memorial option allows you to design and construct a full monumental ash house in magnificent polished granite.

Each site can accommodate up to 10 interments.


Garden of MemoriesThis tranquil and serene area features elegantly arranged flowering plants and showcases a splendid granite cross as its centerpiece. Our beautiful memorial garden encompasses

single, double and family estates.

Pathway of MemoriesThese exquisitely landscaped pathways are lined with a myriad of colourful and fragrant
