Women start Norceca Beach Volleyball Tour in Costa Rica

GUANACASTE, Costa Rica, april 14, 2016- Women will start on Friday the fourth stop of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Tour with 16 matchs, reaching a peak of participation again with 16 couples.

Edgard Alvarado, president of Costa Rican Volleyball

Federation (Fecovol), welcomed all participants, inviting them to enjoy the beauties of the region of Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

Meanwhile, Lisseth Villalobos, delegate of the Costa Rican Institute of Sport and Recreation (Icoder), said that "for us this event is important because it represents and promotes Costa Rica to the Central American and Caribbean level. We also reflects that we do a lot of work to grow the sport and recreation. You inspire people to pursue their dreams... Welcome to Costa Rica and wish them the best of luck. "

Eduard Drakich, Competition director and President of the NORCECA Beach Volleyball Commission, explained that women are four groups of four teams; and men, in the absence of Mexico, were 15 couples, divided into three groups of four and one three.

The first games will be in Group A with Karen Cope / Natalia Alfaro, Costa Rica 1 to Etches / Hynds, of Honduras, while Sanchez / Echeverria, Cuba, against Wolfenden / Gandofy, Cayman Islands, both at 8: 00 am.

In the Burnside / Orellana Group B, Mexico, to Bennett / Valenciana Virgin Islands at 8:00 a.m. and Wilkerson / Gordon, Canada 1 before Valenciano / Araya of Costa Rica at 8:45 a.m. The Matches for man to will start 10:30 am.

Mujeres abren el Tour NORCECA de Voleibol Playa en Costa Rica

GUANACASTE, Costa Rica, abril 14, 2016 – Con 16 juegos de mujeres iniciará este viernes la cuarta parada del Tour NORCECA de Voleibol de Playa, alcanzando nuevamente la máxima cifra de participación con 16 parejas.

Edgard Alvarado, presidente de la Federación Costarricense de Voleibol (Fecovol), le dio la bienvenida a todos los participantes, invitándolos a disfrutar de las bellezas de la región de Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

En tanto, Lisseth Villalobos, delegada del Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreación (Icoder), señaló que “para nosotros este evento es fundamental porque representa y promueve a Costa Rica a nivel Centroamericano y del Caribe. También nos refleja que debemos hacer mucho trabajo para hacer crecer el deporte y la recreación. Ustedes inspiran a las personas a perseguir sus sueños… Bienvenidos a Costa Rica y les deseamos la mejor de las suertes”.

Eduard Drakich, Supervisor de Competencia y Presidente de la Comisión de NORCECA de Voleibol de Playa, explicó que en femenino serán cuatro grupos de cuatro equipos; y en varones, ante la ausencia de México, quedaron 15 parejas, divididos en tres grupos de cuatro y uno de tres.

Los primeros juegos serán en el grupo A con Karen Cope/Natalia Alfaro, de Costa Rica 1, ante Etches/Hynds, de Honduras, mientras Sánchez/Echeverría, de Cuba, contra Wolfenden/Gandofy, de Islas Caimán, ambos a las 8:00 a.m.

En el grupo B, Burnside/Orellana, de México, ante Bennett/Valenciana de Islas Vìrgenes a las 8:00 a.m. y Wilkerson/Gordon, de Canadá 1, ante Valenciano/Araya, de Costa Rica a las 8:45 a.m.. A partir de las 10:30 a.m. se jugarán los partidos de varones.

Mujeres abren el Tour NORCECA de Voleibol Playa en Costa Rica

GUANACASTE, Costa Rica, abril 14, 2016 – Con 16 juegos de mujeres iniciará este viernes la cuarta parada del Tour NORCECA de Voleibol de Playa, alcanzando nuevamente la máxima cifra de participación con 16 parejas.

Edgard Alvarado, presidente de la Federación Costarricense de Voleibol (Fecovol), le dio la bienvenida a todos los participantes, invitándolos a disfrutar de las bellezas de la región de Guanacaste, Costa Rica.

En tanto, Lisseth Villalobos, delegada del Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreación (Icoder), señaló que “para nosotros este evento es fundamental porque representa y promueve a Costa Rica a nivel Centroamericano y del Caribe. También nos refleja que debemos hacer mucho trabajo para hacer crecer el deporte y la recreación. Ustedes inspiran a las personas a perseguir sus sueños… Bienvenidos a Costa Rica y les deseamos la mejor de las suertes”.

Eduard Drakich, Supervisor de Competencia y Presidente de la Comisión de NORCECA de Voleibol de Playa, explicó que en femenino serán cuatro grupos de cuatro equipos; y en varones, ante la ausencia de México, quedaron 15 parejas, divididos en tres grupos de cuatro y uno de tres.

Los primeros juegos serán en el grupo A con Karen Cope/Natalia Alfaro, de Costa Rica 1, ante Etches/Hynds, de Honduras, mientras Sánchez/Echeverría, de Cuba, contra Wolfenden/Gandofy, de Islas Caimán, ambos a las 8:00 a.m.

En el grupo B, Burnside/Orellana, de México, ante Bennett/Valenciana de Islas Vìrgenes a las 8:00 a.m. y Wilkerson/Gordon, de Canadá 1, ante Valenciano/Araya, de Costa Rica a las 8:45 a.m.. A partir de las 10:30 a.m. se jugarán los partidos de varones.
