WORSHIP

Today, we conclude our four-week series, We Are the Church: Comforting, Commissioning, Nurturing, Blessing. This series helps us to remember and to celebrate some of the ways we function as the church of Jesus Christ: a memorial service, an ordination, an intern preaching, a wedding… all in Sunday morning worship! NEXT SUNDAY, CALVARY UNPLUGGED:: LOOK AGAIN Last year, we took a break from higher liturgy in the Sanctuary and spent part of the summer “unplugged,” for a more conversational, acoustic approach to worship. Starting next Sunday, July 29, we begin another six-week series entitled Look Again. We’ll examine passages we’ve heard all our lives but never understood, or understood in a way that might be problematic. Join us in the Chapel, 11:00 a.m. each Sunday, July 29 – September 2. TODAY

CALVARY YARD SALE Donate gently used items in Kendall 5 for the sale, October 17-19, supporting Shalom Scholarship. Sorry, no large appliances or clothing. Boxes and shopping bags are also needed. Contact Gretchen White for details.
