Last years program consisted of sixinteractive sessions from September through May.Each session focused on a specific feast day, allowing those who participated to betterunderstand the richness and meaning behind our

Byzantine traditions. It prepared the participants toengage more fully during these special days in ourliturgical year. The sessions planned for the 2010 -2011 year are:

    Sunday, September 12, 2010

The program will be offered in English asall materials are currently only available in English. However, we want to expand to fully meet theneeds of our parish and seek Ukrainian-speakingvolunteers so the sessions can be developed andalso offered in Ukrainian. As well designed as this program is, we arealways in need of financial support to cover the costof the material needs of our program and ensure itssuccess. If you would like to make a financialdonation, you can drop it off at the Rectory or inthe Sunday collection basket. Financialcontributions can also be made on the parishswebsite www.stnicholaschicago.org via PayPal(please specify that the offering is for thecatechetical program). Through the donations oflast years program we were able to obtain a laptopcomputer, cabinet for its storage and pay forwireless internet service so that our DivineLiturgies on Sundays can be transmitted over theinternet on our parish website for those who may

    not be able to attend.

Thank you in advance for your prayers and support,
