(St. Augustine Church, Barberton, OH) (April 6, 2014) (Insert Graphic 2120-0013.tif) Fifth Sunday of Lent In today’s gospel, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. When Lazarus came out of the tomb, Jesus instructed his family and friends to untie the bandages that bound him. God still depends on us to free others so they might live. Who in your family is tied up by pride or entombed by grief or resentment? Hear Jesus’ call to “unbind him,” with care and compassion. 322 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week. When Jesus said, "I am with you always"(Mt 28:20), He meant it! Please remember that when you look at the monstrance on the altar, this is so much more than consecrated bread, this is the real presence of Jesus, body and soul. Keep in mind that you can stop and just spend five or ten minutes with Our Lord. Time with Jesus is never wasted. Should you have any questions, please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926.
