Terror and peace just don’t go together, do they? Exactly. No matter how difficult or messy the situation may be the Risen Lord will be with us offering peace and quieting our fears.

(Insert Graphic 1401-0023.tif) My Dear Parishioners:

I want to thank you for making our Lenten Almsgiving for Habitat for Humanity such a great success. We set our goal for $10,000 and have currently received $12,080. Thank you for sharing your treasure to help build homes for families right here in Barberton. Please watch the bulletin for details on how you can volunteer and give of your time in prayer and in building the Habitat homes.

The first home will be built on Haven Avenue for Mildred Murphy and her two boys, the second home will be built on Brown Street for the Jennings Family and their children; two boys and a girl.

Also, I invite you to sign the cross in the sanctuary. The wood from the cross will become part of the home. Thank you again! I am so humbly proud to be the pastor of such a generous and giving community.Christ’s Peace!Fr. 320 Holy Hours were kept with Our Lord in Eucharistic Adoration last week. Why is exposition of the Blessed Sacrament necessary? The difference between

spending time before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament in a monstrance, rather than in the tabernacle, is similar to conversing with a friend face-to-face instead of having a closed door between you. Most people say that seeing Jesus in His Eucharistic Presence is much more conductive to intimacy than having Him hidden in a tabernacle.   If you have any questions, please call Judy Soltis at 330-212-0926.
