HOLY YEAR OF MERCY

Father of mercy, who gave your Son for our salvation and who strengthens us always with the gifts of your Spirit, grant us Christian communities which are alive, fervent and joyous, which are fonts of fraternal life, and which nurture in the young the desire to consecrate themselves to you and to the work of evan-gelization. Sustain these communities in their commitment to offer appropriate vocational catechesis and ways of proceeding towards each one’s particular consecration. Grant the wisdom needed for vocational discernment, so that in all things the greatness of your merciful love may shine forth. May Mary, Mother and guide of Jesus, intercede for each Christian community, so that, made fruitful by the Holy Spirit, it may be a source of true vocations for the service of the holy People of God. ~ Amen.

Prayers for Vocations

The Rosary is prayed in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament Mass, Tuesday to Saturday before Mass.

GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY PILGRIMAGE 2017 marks the Golden Anniversary of the founding of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. Your 50th Anniversary Sub-Committee has been planning events to commemorate this important parish milestone.

We are well underway with our Photo Directory and are now ready to provide details of our exciting pilgrimage to Barcelona, Lourdes and Rome. This is an inspirational journey that will strengthen our faith and celebrate our joy.

We will be travelling from October 10th to the 20th of 2017.

All those interested in joining this pilgrimage, are invited to attend an information session on MONDAY, APRIL 18th at 7PM in Our Lady of Lourdes parish hall. Travel representatives will provide a power-point presentation and will answer your questions.

Please join us for an uplifting and enlightening presentation as we hear about the pilgrimage of thanksgiving that will take us to Lourdes, the very place where Our Blessed Mother appeared to St. Bernadette. At Lourdes and the other destinations, we will offer our gratitude to Almighty God for the great blessings of the first fifty years of our beloved parish under the special patronage of Our Lady of Lourdes.
