The Apostles’ Creed - Page 105 I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We are blessed to have Christian friends from other places and congregations visiting at worship today. IN HOLY COMMUNION we believe that Christ is truly present in the bread and wine forgiving our sins. We welcome you to such a table of presence and forgiveness. Martin Luther said: “That person is well prepared and worthy (to receive Communion) who believes these words, ‘given and shed for you for the remission of sins’. If you cannot drink the wine, it is appropriate to receive just the bread, or just touch the glass of wine to one’s lips, also glasses of white grape juice are placed in the middle of the tray. Younger children are invited to come forward to receive a blessing.
