The 6th edition of DBS Marina Regatta returns from 1 to 4 June 2017! Inside this bulletin, you’ll find highlights of the Regatta as well as important information and updates about this year’s Competition.
Held in the heart of the city against the stunning Marina Bay skyline, DBS Marina Regatta (DBSMR) is a festival like no other. If you have what it takes, we welcome local and overseas teams to pit yourselves against one another.
With so many teams interested, do register early to avoid disappointment! General information about accommodation, transport and entry fees are available in this Bulletin. For overseas teams, please contact the Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA) directly at [email protected] for registration.

Please refer to the DBSMR Entry Rules for more details.
Each Team must be led by a Team Manager.1.
DB22-crew composition: 1 Team Manager, 1 Coach, 20 paddlers, 1 drummer, 1 steersperson & 4 reserves
3.
Each team may send only one (1) crew per category except corporate categories which allow two (2) crews.

The Coach is permitted to double as an Athlete(paddler, steersperson and/or reserve)

Only the IDBF Spec.202a paddles (wood or carbon fibre) are permitted. Alternatively, The Organizers can provide club teams with the SDBA Training Paddles (wood only).
7.
Wearing of ISO 12402-5 standard or equivalent Personal Floatation Device (PFD) is compulsory by Singapore law. Overseas teams may bring their own ISO or equivalent standard PFD or request PFD from the Organizers.

DBSMR-17 Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend the race program at its sole discretion.

For SDBA affiliates The Entry Fee is Singapore Dollars $26.75 (inclusive of GST) per person:-

6. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

No restriction on gender for Paddlers, Steersperson, Drummer, Coach and Reserves
Team must have at least 4 female paddlers in a race.
DB12 DBS Prime Warriors Mixed
Corporate Category: • Paddlers, Drummers and Reserves must be employees of the company.
• For Overseas Corporate Teams, Paddlers, Drummers & Reserves must be employees from a Multi-National Corporation (MNC) and/or an Internationally-listed Company.
• Coach, Team Manager and Steersperson does not have to be an employee.
• With the exception of Drummer & Steersperson, the Paddler & Reserves must be 40 years old & above as of 1 June 2017
• Team must have at least 4 female paddlers in a race.
Age Limit Minimum 12 years old as of 1 June 2017
Paddlers, Steersperson, Drummer and Reserves must be ALL-WOMENException is made for the Coach and Team Manager. But if the Coach is to double as an athlete, the Coach must be a Woman.
