    Encouraging Words

I am made in Gods image, and he doesnt make any junk. God

loves me and wants me to live a fulfilled life.

Communing with God constantly brings light, direction and

    blessings from him.

Life is astonishingly wonderful. Even the rough spots often turn out

to be pluses. Hard lessons make me wiser, kinder and more fruitful.

When I feel boxed-in or blocked, I can know that in Gods good time, he will help me be

    victorious.

During the month of February, West Lynchburg Baptist Church

will be collecting money for "Stop Hunger Now," an

organization attempting to alleviate world hunger. This

organization works in Haiti and around the world to help those

in need. Last year, more than 5 million meals and 300,000 tons

of aid were sent in to support the victims of the Haiti

earthquake. Stop Hunger Now has been working in Haiti since 1998 and is committed to

working alongside the Haitian people as they rebuild and beyond. To learn more about this

    ministry, go to www.stophungernow.org.

During February, please collect money in your Sunday School Classes or

send money to the church designated to "Hunger Relief" or to "Stop

    Hunger Now."

On March 11 at 10am, a group from WLBC will go to the Sharehouse in

Lynchburg to put together the meals brought with the money collected. We invite you to

be a part of this vital ministry. (Watch for the sign up sheet.)
