About Musket CoveMusket Cove Island Resort is located in the Mamanuca group of Islands off the coast from Nadi. Our proximity to Nadi International Airport allows quick and easy access via high speed catamaran, seaplane or helicopter. Making Malolo Lailai Island the most accessible resort in the Mamanuca Island group.

You’ll find the pace of Island life a little more relaxed, just the way we like it, ensuring all the stresses you came with will be far from your mind by the time you leave.

Island Size

Malolo Lailai is 600 tropical acres (240 hectares) fringed by palm trees and secluded beaches. There are numerous hikes and areas to explore.

Accessibility

Meet and greet service is available at Nadi Airport by Musket Cove Staff. An easy 60 minute cruise from Port Denarau on the Malolo Cat, operating 4 dedicated return services daily. Charters are also available for larger groups.

Number of Guests we can Accommodate

Whether a small board meeting or a larger affair (up to 140) we are at your service. Larger groups may wish to consider a whole resort booking for privacy but due to occupancy this should be discussed well in advance.

Scuba Diving

Subsurface Fiji is a professional dive company, a PADI 5 Star IDC (Instructor Development Centre) and a member of the Fiji Dive Operators Association. Catering to all ages, novice divers, adventurous and experienced divers, their modern fleet of vessels allow Subsurface Fiji divers access to the best dive sites in the area. Musket Cove is very near to the Malolo barrier reef. Subsurface Fiji offers you ecofriendly dive practices and the ability of catering to groups.

Private Charter

How about a group day out exploring neighbouring islands and pristine reefs aboard a 15m Sailing Catamaran or motorised cruiser. Picnic on a secluded island whilst enjoying FIji pristine nature. Scheduled service available daily or private charters can be designed to suit your group and your needs.

Let the Team take you to some of the best fishing spots beyond the reef. All your tackle is included and if you don’t want to kiss your catch and throw it back, our Team will prepare it ready to cook in your room or at Island Bar BBQs!

FIJIAN MAGITI FEAST

Shared banquet style in the centre of the table. This is style of dining is based on the traditional form of Fijian feasting and sharing with family and friends. The menu is a series of local delicacies.

Individual Entrée – select one of the following

- Millionaires salad: King prawn, heart of palm and Miti Fern served in a half pawpaw with a light coconut cream.- Kokoda: Fiji’s most famous dish of Local Walu fish marinated in lime juice and coconut cream with a hint of chilli. Served in a fresh coconut shell- Rourou soup with roasted coconut shavings

Main course

RAINTREE HOTEL ROOMS

Located on the first floor of “Raintree House”, a large colonial style building with open veranda and surrounded by large rain-trees. These large hotel rooms, are the perfect little hideaway, located just a short walk to the Resort pool, Restaurant and beach. Each of the 6 rooms is a spacious 38 square metres and can sleep up to 3 people. No children under 15 years of age are permitted in these rooms.

Located along the resorts beachfront, our Beachfront Bures are a few lazy steps to the beach and water’s edge.

The spacious 60 square metre rooms are designed as a suite, entering into a lounge which then opens up into a large bedroom and daybed with high pitched ceiling and traditional Fijian features such as the handstripped whole coconut log beams and the traditional “magimagi” (coconut fibre rope weaving).

These large waterfront villas are a perfect fit for our ocean surroundings. Soft furnishings match the colour of the Fiji waters, by Meridian fabrics and artwork by 3 of Fiji’s most successful artists. Each villa features 2 identical bedrooms both with ensuite bathroom.

Armstrong is a private island connected by bridge with 10 overwater villas situated along it’s shores. Guests of our Island Villas can enjoy their own private pool and BBQ area.
