4-H Food Stand Information

The 4-H Food Stand is a very important part of the

Madison County Fair. The money that comes in goes

right back to you, the 4-H’ers. The money raised in the

4-H Food Stand will make many of your yearly 4-H ac-

tivities possible including: scholarships, awards and

financial assistance to local, state, and national leader-

ship opportunities. A club work schedule is included in

the back of this newsletter.

For each shift in the Food Stand, a minimum of 5 youth

and 2 adults are required. It’s important to vary the ag-

es of youth due to the variety of tasks to be completed

during each shift. Please wear a clean 4-H t-shirt while

working.

Each club has also been asked to donate seven pies,

three pans of brownies, and four dozen cookies for sale

at the food stand. No cream pies or refrigerated

pies. You may bring donations prior to or during

your club’s work shift. Please be sure to sign the check-

in sheet for the pies and brownies that you bring in so

that your club will get credit for them.
