Fitwel ScorecardsThe Fitwel Team continues to take an evidence-based and balanced approach to guide the refinements and enhancements to the Fitwel Standard to best reflect the latest public health research, and implementation feasibility. In addition to strengthened Workplace and Multifamily Scorecards, we are introducing scorecards for application within a community or site and retail settings.

Community ScorecardThe Community Scorecard weaves together the full range of the Center for Active Design's expertise, as featured in the original Active Design Guidelines, Assembly, ULI's Building Healthy Places Toolkit, and of course, Fitwel. Emphasizing amenities that create and promote wellbeing, including streets, parks, plazas, and social gathering spaces, the core of the Community Scorecard are strategies that elevate resident health, inclusion, agency, and cohesion. The Community Scorecard is currently in a pilot phase with select users. Contact us at [email protected] if you are interested in joining the pilot.

Retail ScorecardBuilding on the success of the Workplace Scorecard, the Retail Scorecard was developed recognizing that employees in both traditional offices and retail settings often face similar challenges and opportunities when it comes to health. As such, it is organized into similar sections as Workplace, emphasizing consistent elements such as location, access, features of employee workspaces, shared amenities, outdoor spaces, indoor environments, and food access. The addition of new strategies allows for a greater level of impact on occupants and represents feedback from current users, our advisors, research partners, and well-respected industry leaders.
