• First successful islet cell transplant in Ontario at University Health Network

• Developed Clinical Handbook for Heart Trans-plantation to support and improve patient centred care

• In partnership with Ontario Renal Network,rolled-out education strategy at

13 renal centres to improve understanding of kidney transplantation and living donation

• Increased funding support to patients for accommodation expenses through the Patient Expense Reimbursement Program (TPER)

• Launched Paramedic Referral and Screening Program in Ottawa and United Counties of Prescott and Russell
