Maple Valley Ag 4-H club uses the funds raised to help our local community by donating and working at the Lord’s Cupboard in Alta, scrap-
ing and painting at the Hanover Historical Village, care packages to servicemen overseas, planting trees at the BV County fair grounds and
Alta Elementary School, painting picnic tables at the Alta City Park, planting flowers at the city ball field, purchasing trophies for county fair
youth, donating to 4-H camps and trips and to Iowa 4-H Foundation, and many others, every year.
Located from Alta, 2 miles north on M31 (50th Avenue) and 1/2 mile west on gravel (560th Street). Watch for the pumpkin signs.
There is also an annual Pumpkin Hollow Coloring contest poster. Prizes: two bikes! Bring the colored poster when you visit or take the post-
er home and mail it back when colored.
