Introductory History to the Schools of the Bujinkan This is the original official version as written by solely by 'Paul Richardson' First published in 1993, this book was altered in 1994/5 to contain pictures. This book was researched and solely written by Paul Richardson. Contents The first 9 chapters discuss the history of the Bujinkan Ryuha followed by a biography of Takamatsu Toshitsugu sensei. Also Iga and Koga Ryu history is discussed. This was the first book in English to publish the names of all the soke of the 9 Ryu. Tenchijin Ryaku No Maki This book is written by Paul Richardson (author of the Bujinkan history book) and it contains the step by step instructions for all the kata in the Tenchijin Ryaku No Maki from his personal training notes. This book is regarded by many as the complete basis for all the basics found in the Bujinkan Dojo. Ten Ryaku No Maki contains the basic skills of the Bujinkan Dojo, Ukemi/Kaiten (Rolling), Kamae (Postures), Sanshin No Kata, Kihon Happo, Ken (fists) etc. Chi Ryaku No Maki contains the different Nage (throws), Gyaku (locks), Keri (kicks) and Shime (chokes) that are found in the Bujinkan Kata. Jin Ryaku No Maki consists of a selected number of various Kata from the different Ryu-ha that are studied in the Bujinkan Dojo. Bugei Hyakunin Isshu The Bugei Hyakunin Isshu is a collection of 100 poems about many famous martial artists. This is a reproduction from the original document which is a rare and difficult to find volume. It will be of interest to anyone who practices martial arts derived from Takagi Oriemon and Takagi Umanosuke such as those in the Bujinkan, Jinenkan and Genbukan as it contains prints of these founders, as well as many many other martial artists.

Takagi Oriuemon Budojitsu Takagi Oriemon was the founder of the Takagi Ryu. This play was first performed in the Nakamura theatre in August 1848. This is a rare book, and this is a unique opportunity to own a piece of history. It will be of interest to those that practice martial arts that are related to Takagi ryu and Kukishin Ryu such as those practiced in the Bujinkan, Jinenkan and Genbukan organisations.

Asa No Ha Toji Asa No ha a uses a two line style of Binding with an additional zig zag pattern stitching. This pattern is supposed to represent hemp leaf. This style of binding is stronger on the spine than the simple Yotsume Toji style. These Journal/notebooks are available with 50 or 100 sheets of blank paper. Kikko Toji Kikko is a more complex version of the 4 hole Yotsume style of binding. the sets of three cross stitches are supposed to represent the patterns on the Tortoise shell.
