GENERAL NOTES

Situation The Farmstead at Buckdale Lane adjoins the B5056 between the Miners Standard Public House at Winster and Elton crossroads. From Newhaven and the A515 pick up the A5012 towards Winster and Matlock and travel through Pikehall. Bear left at the Y junctions toward Winster and after approximately 2 miles at the end of the road pick up the B5056 towards Bakewell. Travel past the Miners Standard Public House on the left and go round the bend with the access lane to the Farmstead lying on the left after approximately 600 yards. From Grange Mill pick up the B5056 towards Bakewell and Winster and travel over the top of the hill passing the waterworks on the right. Continue past the Miners Standard Public House on the left with the Farmstead lying on the left after approximately 600 yards up a lane. From the A6 between Bakewell and Rowsley pick up the B5056 and after ¼ mile bear left continuing on the B5056 signposted Ashbourne and Winster. Continue for approximately 1 ½ miles and after passing the Elton/Winster crossroads go round the right hand bend with the Farmstead lying straight in front down the lane.

‘To the Sale’ and ‘Car Park’ signs will be erected on the morning of the sale.

Value Added Tax - The vendors are registered for VAT purposes (no. 279 3730 23) and VAT at the standard rate will be charged in addition to the auction price where applicable. Refreshments - A caterer will be in attendance on the day.

Conditions of Sale – Bagshaws usual farm sale conditions of sale shall apply at this sale, copies of which are available from the Town offices or the on site sale office.

Cash – Under the money laundering regulations the auctioneers are unable to accept cash in sums greater than €15,000 (or its Sterling equivalent). Please contact the auctioneers to discuss methods of cash payment prior to the sale.

Export Purchasers – All goods must be paid for in pounds sterling (£).

VAT on Export Goods – Under regulations imposed by HM Customs & Excise, the auctioneers must account in a proper manner for VAT on export goods. Therefore, any customers who have no trading pattern record with the auctioneers must pay all VAT on the purchase price of goods on sale day. On receipt of all relevant export documentation and bills of laden (which must be received in the prescribed time limits), the auctioneers will then refund relevant VAT sums.

Buyers Premium – No buyers premium will be payable at this sale.

Loading Facilities – There will be a loader tractor complete with pallet tines available for loading up until approximately 5pm on sale day.

Machine Hours – Machine hours have been taken as at Thursday 25th May 2017. These are given for information purposes only and are not guaranteed by the Auctioneers. Loading It is the responsibility of the purchaser to arrange for the safe loading & transport of all and any purchases. Bagshaws are under no obligation to provide assistance in loading but on occasion they will do their best to help provided that it is not putting themselves, the purchaser or other people at risk of injury. For large, heavy and unwieldy items, specialist loading and transportation will be required for example bulk bins and tanks. The decision made by Bagshaws will be final.

FOREWORD

This genuine dispersal arises as a result of Mrs Beverley Shimwell giving up farming and many will know that the Late Ian Shimwell passed away approximately 3 years ago and that the suckler cows etc. from the farm have already been sold some while ago. There is a very large range of workshop tools and sundry equipment and in addition the mowers and grassland items together with tractors are for genuine dispersal. There are various local vendors including tractors and machinery within the sale and purchasers should attend and bid with confidence at this very varied event.
