It concerns me very much that

we are actually contemplating

a name change from The

University of Akron for many

reasons. Has anyone thought

about how much this would

cost? We're talking logos,

sports wear, signage ... just to

name a few things. Aren't we

in a budget crunch right now?

I really don't think this would

go over well at all with students

who are the ones that would

ultimately be footing the bill for

this. I just don't think now is the

time to even be considering

this.
