Your gift will provide an individual with hearing aids. Without hearing aids,
an individual with untreated hearing loss is at increased risk for
depression, social isolation, and cognitive decline. Hearing aids help
prevent these issues and greatly improve an individual's independence

Northeast Florida needs our help. Last year, 67% of preschool children that
we tested in Jacksonville’s Urban Core failed their speech-language tests—
57 percentage points higher than the national average. Additionally, census
numbers suggest that within the City of Jacksonville alone, those with
hearing loss account for approximately 822,229 individuals.
Without your support, it is likely that many of these individuals in need of
essential speech-language and audiology services will go untreated. You
have the power to change their lives by helping to Give the Gift of
Communciation.
