T01-01 Acceptance Items for the Installation of BTS3900 GSM Cabinet

T01-0101 Acceptance Items for BTS3900 GSM Installation

Purpose

Verify that the installation of integrated equipment of BTS3900 indoor cabinet complies with the corresponding engineering specifications.

Prerequisite

The BTS3900 cabinet is already installed.

Test Procedure Expectation Result

1. Check the position of cabinet.

The placement of the BTS3900 cabinet complies with the engineering design.

2. Check the installation position.

When installed against the wall, the back of the cabinet must be 0 mm to 98 mm away from the wall. The cabinet is located near the feeder encapsulation window to minimize the length of the feeder. A height of at least 200 mm is spared for routing the feeder on the top of cabinet. The BTS cabinet can be installed side by side with the cabinet of other equipment.

3. Check all bolts, flat washers, and spring washers.

All bolts are fastened. The spring washer is installed between the bolt and the flat washer. The base (anchor) fits into the expansion bolt holes properly.

Purpose

Verify that the antenna system installation meets the engineering requirements. The engineering parameters of antenna are as follows:

Purpose

Purpose

Start the Site Maintenance Terminal System. Query the current of the storage battery (1) Select the target module and double-click View Resource. The View Resource dialog box is displayed. indicating that the battery is being charged.

T01 O&M Function Acceptance Items

T01-01 Login

T01-02 Logging In to the Site Maintenance Terminal System

Objective

Verify that you can log in to the Site Maintenance Terminal System and implement O&M operations through the system.

Prerequisites

The BTS operates normally.

The Ethernet cable between the Site Maintenance Terminal System and the BTS is connected properly.

Start and log in to the Site Maintenance Terminal System.

(1) Choose User Management > Login to display the Log in

dialog box.

(2) Enter your user name and password and click OK.

Over temp sensor properly installed &

terminated till BTS.

On A/C Panel, Set the over temperature

threshold below 28 °C. Over Temperature

alarm will be reported at the OMCR. Verify

from OMCR & set over temperature

threshold back to 28 °C.

Check the Humidity

alarm

Humidity sensor properly installed &

terminated till BTS.

Locate the “Humidity Sensor”, which is

installed on one of the “Equipment Room

Walls”.

Set the humidity upper limit at 20% with

OMCR. After few seconds, Check with

OMC-R that they can see this alarm. Set

the humidity upper limit back to 85%,

Check with the OMC-R that the alarm has

gone.

Check the Water

leakage alarm

Water leakage sensor properly installed &

terminated till BTS.

Locate the “Water Leakage Sensor”,

located on one of the “Equipment Room

Walls” at floor level. Immerse the Water

Leakage Sensor into water. After few

seconds, Check with OMC-R that they can

see this alarm. Take out the Water

Leakage Sensor from the water, Check

with the OMC-R that the alarm has gone.

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check the Gas release

alarm

FSS properly installed & terminated till

BTS.

As a precaution, the “Gas Activation

Switch” is switched off and after the activity

changed back to “ON”.

The Test will be done by using “LOOP Test

Method”.

Remove the [Jumper] cables of “Gas

Released” on EMU, the alarm of “Gas

Released” will be reported to OMCR.

Reconnect the [Jumper] cables; the alarm

should be cleared in OMCR

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check the Generator

Running alarm

Open the “Main Switch DB” in Genset

Room. Disconnect the WAPDA supply

from the Main Switch. Genset will be

started. Generator Running alarm will be

reported at the OMCR. Verify from OMCR

& Switch ON the MCB.

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check the Tower light

alarm

Tower light sensor properly installed &

terminated till BTS.

Cover the sun switch with a cloth. Tower

lights will turn on. Now remove one bulb

from the holder & Tower light failure alarm

will be reported at OMCR. Clear the alarm

once bulb is installed back & verify from

OMCR.

Check Air Conditioner

Failure Alarm

Air Con Panel properly installed &

terminated till BTS. Alarm to be actuated

when both Air Conditioners are operating

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check Mains

Failure Alarm

Alarm to be actuated when Input

Commercial Supply for Rectifier has

suspended / failed

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check Low Battery

Voltage alarm

Alarm to be actuated when Battery Bank

discharge voltage <= 49 volts Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

alarm

Check the Generator

Failure alarm

Open the “Main Switch DB” in Genset

Room. Disconnect the WAPDA supply

from the Main Switch. Genset will be

started. Wait for consistent response of the

Genset, for some time.

Locate the “OutPut Switch” on the Front

Panel of Genset. Change the Output

Switch to “OFF” position. The Output

supply of the Genset will be disconnected.

The alarm of “Generator Failure” (Alarm –

15) will be reported in OMCR. Change the

position of “Output Switch” to “ON”

position. The supply of Genset will be

again commenced. Reconnect the

WAPDA supply by changing position of

Main Switch to “ON” position.

Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

Check the Gen Low Fuel

alarm

Take the fuel float with the cover out of the

tank. Check with OMC-R that they can see Pass Fail Not Run Zapped

this alarm. At the fuel float with cover

inserted to the tank. Check with the
