Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (IARE), Hyderabad was established in the year 2000 by a devoted group of eminent
professionals and industrialists having a long and outstanding experience in educational system with a mission ‘Education for Liberation’. It is the first institute to start the B.Tech program in
Aeronautical Engineering in the state of Telangana and has gradually transformed itself into a premier integrated multi-
disciplinary technological institute.
The institute has been consistently maintaining excellent results and is a gateway to success providing quality education, while nurturing students to gain competitive edge over others. IARE believes in setting audacious goals and infusing fresh ideas to
achieve the same. The institute intends to promote collaborative industry relevant projects, R & D consultancy and

Category 'A'
Admissions under Category 'A' (70%) are made by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education through a common entrance test TS EAMCET.
Category 'B'
Admissions under Category ‘B’ (Management / NRI - 30%) are done on the basis of merit as per the guidelines of TSCHE, Hyderabad.
Lateral Entry into II Year B.Tech
In addition to the above, diploma holders are admitted directly into the second year of B.Tech to the extent of 20% of intake based on the rank obtained in the Engineering Common Entrance Test (ECET), under lateral entry scheme conducted by Govt. of Telangana.
Post-Graduate Programs
Admissions to the Post-graduate programs are made through both the windows, category ‘A’ and category ‘B’. Category ‘A’ admissions (70% of seats) are conducted for M.Tech programs based on a valid GATE score / Rank obtained in TS PGECET common entrance test conducted by the Government of Telangana. Category ‘B’ admissions (30% of seats) are done on the basis of merit as per the guidelines of TSCHE, Hyderabad.
In case of MBA admissions to 70% of seats are based on the rank obtained in ICET and 30% of seats are done on the basis of merit as per the guidelines of TSCHE, Hyderabad.

Autonomy conferred in 2015 helped this institute to design its curriculum and draw syllabi to infuse greater academic discipline and to match industry needs. Interpersonal Skill Development
Creativity, lateral thinking, and communication / people management skills are essential components for progress in any sphere. Students are encouraged to develop these through goal setting exercises, group discussions, mock interviews, and presentations.
Technical Skill Development
The depth of technical skills that students develop depends, to a great extent, on the course they have chosen. However, all students are given a conceptual grounding in core skills and application orientation through real-time projects to ensure their skills are concurrent with market needs.
Business / Skill Development
All students are taught essential business skills through industry interaction as well as innovative channels such as marketing and finance clubs. We believe that this training will stand them in good stead when they make the transition from employee to employer.
We are always looking for people who can learn new skills faster than our competitors. Students of IARE not only have a very strong technical and theoretical background, but also have problem solving skills that they acquire from their experience on actual projects.

CAMPUS WIDE QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM The campus wide quality improvement program (CWQIP) is about optimizing teaching and learning methods across campus. CWQIP works on three distinct fronts. First, it sets up systems for accountability and continuous improvement in the classroom. Next, it creates an environment where each student is constantly motivated to excel and reach new heights. Finally, it provides proactive career management facilities that help students find internships and campus placement jobs.

Course Information
All published mobile app course material and question banks are given to the students before the semester starts. This ensures that they are well aware of the course coverage and requirements in advance. We have found that this helps them to plan their activities and study schedules better, and maximizes their benefits from curriculum.
Progress Monitor
We periodically provide detailed student progress reports that help students and their families monitor students’ academic performance throughout the year. These reports can also be accessed online on our Intellect CMS login website by parents/guardians sitting anywhere across the world. Students with learning difficulties are supported by Student Academic Support Program (SASP).
Teacher Evaluation
We believe that teachers must be evaluated by the students they teach. This ensures that there is no discrepancy between content delivery and students’ needs. Teachers are evaluated twice in a semester on a wide range of parameters that cover everything from their expertise in subjects to contribution to the institute.
Rank Awards
Students, who are ranked first in their respective classes, are felicitated and awarded on annual day function. The award comprises a citation, a gold medal, and a cash prize. This encourages competitive spirit and rewards those students who constantly strive to do better
Student Assistantships
Exceptional students are given an opportunity to work closely with their teachers, assisting them with their research and coaching students who need extra help. The experience on the other side, always helps students to perform better.
Distinction Awards
Students, who get distinctions (CGPA more than 9) in any year, are given a cash award and an appreciation certificate. This small but significant recognition goes a long way towards boosting a student’s morale.

The research activity on campus is woven, in pursuance of its vision & mission statements around the philosophy of Inspire, Innovate and Implement to benefit the contemporary society. This Lab has provided a platform for students and research associates to implement research based projects under the guidance of faculty members. A dedicated body STSP (Science and Technology Start-Up Park) encourages the students to develop sustainable business ideas and power through the initial stages for a profitable business venture.
The entire process, from inception to from incubation and finally execution is monitored under the able guidance of industry experts and faculty members. IARE offers a number of ways for students to get involved in enterprise. The PAT cell organizes and coordinates Campus Placement Program to fulfil its commitment of a job to every aspirant. Consultancy Services
Industrial consultancy center is functioning to promote industrial consultation, and extend consultancy and R&D services as per the needs of industry. Besides, the industry-institute interaction exposes our students to newer technologies and engineering methodologies. Full Semester Internship (FSI)
Students have an opportunity to work towards their project work to enrich their learning experience with hands-on internship programs for full duration of semester (either in VII or VIII semester) at leading organizations. These include MAQ Software, Excers, Byjus, Aricent, Purple Talk, and Aptroid amongst many others.

Established in the year 2008, the department offers B.Tech program in Civil Engineering with an intake of 120 and M.Tech in Structural Engineering with an intake of 24.
The B.Tech program in Civil has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) in the year 2016 for a period of 3 years (valid till 30-6-2019).
The department has 22 faculty members including 4 Ph.D’s who have vast experience in both industry and academia. It has well established air-conditioned laboratories with modern equipment to impart knowledge for future industrial and academic needs. It is equipped with strength of material lab, fluid mechanics & hydraulic machinery lab, surveying lab, CAD lab, geotechnical engineering lab, environmental engineering lab, engineering geology lab, and concrete & highway material lab. All labs are equipped with the latest equipments for the upgradation of education and upliftment of research for students to meet the challenging needs of the construction sector.

At IARE, students are encouraged to participate as actively in sports and other extracurricular activities as in academics. The institute maintains a separate unoccupied open area of 4 acres for the play fields in any time fit condition. Apart from this, the institute also has several sports rooms where students can play and revive their energies and be mentally and physically fit.
The sports area of IARE includes a cricket ground, a basket ball court, two volleyball courts, two shuttle badminton courts and indoor facilities, such as multi-gym, table-tennis boards, chess, caroms, etc. From cricket to basketball, students can stay fit in any way they choose. Excellent coaching facilities allow them to hone their skills and IARE teams have won much acclaim for their performance in the sports field.
