Homework

As part of your commitment to this course and to ensure your success on it your teachers will each set you a piece of homework every week.

Sometimes these will be short tasks, which may involve you doing some research. Others will be longer and be part of your assignment work.

Homework will be marked and graded as appropriate. Short pieces of work will be returned to you within one week and longer pieces within two weeks.

Consistently good work will be rewarded with a letter home praising your achievements or student of the month award.

Failure to complete homework tasks set will result in a meeting with your tutor and/or the course-coordinator.

They will help you write an action plan so the work can be completed.

Homework tasks can be done in college during your free time to save you having to do too much at home.

Homework is set for your benefit, as we want you to achieve and progress on to higher education courses or employment.
