Central venue Emerging Open Netball League 2013/14

The Open Age league season will take place between 18th September and 23 rd

October 2013

All matches will be played according to England Netball Official Rules

Schools are responsible for arranging their own umpires

Matches must be played on the set date and at the designated venue.

Teams will play each other twice.

Matches will be: 4 x 8 minute quarters, with 2 minutes at quarter time, and 5 minutes at half-time,

Points will be awarded as follows: Win: 5 points Draw; 3 points Loss, but scoring more than 50% of winning score: 1 point Loss, 50% or less of winning score: 0 points

Tournament Rules 2013-2014

Players can play in ONE tournament only – if they play up an age group they cannot play in their own age group. Where a school enters two teams,

players are not allowed to move from A-B or B-A even in the case of injury. Each team need their own reserves.

Entries should be emailed back to Emma Challinor (Parkside) 2 weeks before the tournament date. You should receive the order of play one week before the tournament – if not, ring the appropriate organiser to obtain this Emma

will be the Tournament Referees and they will have the final decision on any queries. No umpiring cards will be provided so staff need to bring their own. NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted. It causes real problems to the order of

play if team withdraw so will staff please ensure that your teams are available before entering. Any teams who withdraw will lose their deposit and will be

required to provide another deposit before entering another tournament.
