WHAT IS A GRAPHIC DESIGNER?
A graphic designer is a professional within the graphic design and graphic arts industry who assembles together images, typography or motion graphics to create a piece of design.
Requirements
o Postsecondary training in graphic design, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills are crucial in Graphic Design.
o Graphic designers must be creative and able to communicate their ideas visually, verbally, and in writing.
EDUCATIONAL A Bachelor's degree in graphic design Bachelor's degree programs in fine arts
or graphic design Liberal arts courses in art history, writing,
psychology, sociology, foreign languages and cultural studies, marketing, and business.
Associate degrees and certificates in graphic design are also available to further a designer’s career.
