She spent her first eighteen years in Bandon, a small cranberry farming and logging town of approximately 3,000 residents, now known for its top-rated golf courses. In her free time, Bryana enjoys hiking, running, camping, and traveling with her husband and their labradoodle. She also enjoys cheering for the Oregon Ducks and running in adventure races, the muddier the better. Practice & Experience Bryana practices civil litigation in Oregon and Washington courts. She handles complex insurance coverage matters as well as employment law, professional negligence, construction defect, premise liability, and general commercial litigation claims. Prior to working at Hill & Lamb, LLP, Bryana worked at another firm in Portland, where she handled a wide range of civil litigation claims. Bryana began her career at the Washington County District Attorney’s office, where she tried numerous cases to verdict. Bryana is an avid volunteer, and has acted as a volunteer coordinator for events with the Oregon Humane Society, Oregon Food Bank, and Habitat for Humanity. She mentors Lewis and Clark law students, and is a devoted supporter of the Campaign for Equal Justice. In law school, Bryana was awarded a Bergstrom Child Welfare Fellowship, which allowed her the opportunity to travel to the University of Michigan for an intensive study of the child welfare and dependency systems.
