he seminar proposes a series of training sessions on the main legislati on in force on the Asian market covering food contact materials and arti cles.

The series of sessions begins on the fi rst day with an overview of the legislati on in Asian countries and on future trends. This will be followed by a detailed session focusing in depth on four countries: India, Japan, China and Korea.This will feature an extensive examinati on of the themes of greatest interest for regulatory aff airs of each state: regulatory framework, individual substrate regulati on (plasti c, elastomers, metals, coati ngs, inks, adhesives), new substance approval process, supply chain and certi fi cati on requirements. Each session will conclude with a debate on the themes expounded and will leave extensive space for questi ons and answers from the parti cipants.

The two days will close with a fi nal session in which the speakers will delineate a comparison between the four nati ons examined during the seminar, underlining similariti es and diff erences.
