Brunswick City School District September 19, 2018 District earns 10 OHIO pbis recognition awards A total of 10 buildings were recognized with either the bronze or silver award by the Ohio PBIS Network and the State Support Team for implementation of school-wide positive behavioral interventions and supports. The district's theme for PBIS is PRIDE- Performance, Respect, Integrity, Determination, and Effort. Each building takes the elements of PRIDE and incorporates them through various programs and activities for the students and staff. The buildings received the following recognitions: Bronze - Applewood Elementary, Crestview Elementary, Hickory Ridge Elementary, and Huntington Elementary Silver - Brunswick High School, Edwards Middle School, Visintainer Middle School, Willetts Middle School, Kidder Elementary, and Memorial Elementary 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony The 2018 Athletic Hall of Fame Inductions will take place on October 13th at Coppertop at Cherokee Hills Golf Course. This year's honorees include Bryan Ody (Class of 1993), Chris Stanwyck (Class of 1999), Sean Bedevelsky (Class of 2008), Richie Spicel (Class of 2008), Joe Mackey (BHS Basketball Coach), 1995 Football Team, and 1999 Boys Cross Country Team. Tickets are $40 each and can be purchased in the athletic oce or online by clicking here.

Senior Dinner Theatre 2018The 2018-2019 Dinner Theatre season is here! Participants meet in the Brunswick High Schoolwest cafeteria at 5:30 p.m. for a catered dinner before the show and then walk over to thetheatre! Bhs students featured for painted parkingspotsBrunswick High School students were featured on Channel 19's Romona's Kids for theirpainted parking spots, a project organized by the student group VOFT (Volunteer OpportunitiesFor Students). Senior students paid a fee to paint their parking spots with positive messagesand images that represent them. The money raised by the project will be used towards VOFT'sholiday project that bene�ts Brunswick families. Athletic News - Winter Sports TryoutsAs a reminder, all student-athletes are required to have a pre-participation physical completed,turned in, and veri�ed by the BHS athletic training staff, as well as all Final Forms must becompleted by both the parent and student-athlete. (Final Form instructions). Student-athletesare encouraged to turn in physicals to the athletic o�ce ASAP. A student who shows to the�rst day of practice/tryouts with their physical is not guaranteed the ability to participate thatday. The athletic o�ce is open Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you have any questions please contact the athletic o�ce at 330-273-0496.
