Brown’s Banter Prayer Letter/Tabloid Special Edition

WOW—has God been blessing! Since our last prayer letter, we have seen an

increase of nearly $1200 per month in financial support! Because of your faith-fulness, THIS YEAR ALONE we have seen 56 children/teens/adults come to

Christ from 7 FasCar events, 2 Snow Camps, and a Youth Night in Ellsworth.

Eric has also been the guest speaker at 7 churches and he’s had contact with 11

BRAND NEW CHURCHES! If you would like to hop on board with the Brown family in reaching more youth

and adults for Christ, now is your chance!

Our goal is to be 100% fully supported by April of 2012 and this can

only be done through God’s people giving towards our ministry here in Maine.

We cannot do it without you. Won’t you join our team?

Finally!   After 3 years on the market, our house has SOLD! Praise the Lord! There were a lot of mixed emo-

tions as we said goodbye to our home of 10 years but we’re anxious for the next step of this journey. Becauseinterest rates were starting to creep up, we began looking for a new house right away. Our hearts desire was to

stay in the same area and just downsize the mortgage. After looking at all the houses available in our school dis-trict, we found that there were none that would fit our needs as a missionary family and be in our price range.

It seemed as if the Lord was closing doors in this geographical area and so we started widening our search. Wefound that the more north one goes, the cheaper the houses get. Go figure! We decided that for Eric to be“central”, we needed to be closer to the turnpike. Our biggest “need” was a garage and our biggest “want” was 4bedrooms. We found just the house in Oakland! It’s about 2 miles from the Waterville exit and, as you can seefrom the picture, it’s a beautiful brick house built around 1840. It’s been almost completely redone (with the excep-tion of the kitchen-yikes!) and we can’t wait to move in and make it “ours”.

Now, don't get me wrong; it hasn’t been all rosy. We struggled with questions like, “Would God really move usaway from our home church and the kids’ school?” He answered with a resounding “YES” that was heard by

the entire family. God revealed His plans not just to us, but to our children as well. Change is never easy, espe-cially for our kids who really love their school. Eric challenged them to pour out their hearts to the Lord and thenask God specifically to speak to them through His Word. Tears of rejoicing flowed as my children shared with ushow God had comforted them and confirmed His plan for our family. What an awesome God we serve!

Right now we are in temporary housing as the kids finish out the school year at Buckfield. Pray for us as there willbe many changes this coming year. The kids will be attending Messalonskee Schools and we will be looking for anew church home.

We would like to give a big SHOUT OUT to those who lent a helping hand on moving day. The extra set of handsand muscles were definitely needed. THANK YOU!
