Kaštelansko kulturno ljeto najveća je kulturna manifestacija u Kaštelima, na čijem se programu nalaze brojna glazbena, kazališna, plesna, izložbena i slična događanja . Grad Kaštela u suradnji s Turis�čkom zajednicom, brojnim udrugama građana, kulturnim organizacijama i ustanovama te pojedincima organizira programe kulture na gotovo svim trgovima, rivama, ulicama i dvorcima. I tako već dugi niz godina, program Kaštelanskog kulturnog ljeta sve je boga�ji i popularniji kako među Kaštelanima tako i njihovim gos�ma.

THE KAŠTELA CULTURAL SUMMER

The Kaštela Cultural Summer is the biggest cultural event in Kaštela whose program consists of many music, theater, dance, exhibi�on and similar events. The Town of Kaštela in associa�on with the Kaštela Tourist Board, many civil socie�es, cultural socie�es and ins�tu�ons and individuals, organizes cultural programs on nearly all squares, waterfronts, streets and castles.

For a number of years already, the program of the Kaštela Cultural Summer has become richer and more popular among both the inhabitants of Kaštela as well as their guests.

GLAZBENI PROGRAM

Kako bi svatko pronašao nešto za sebe i ove je godine glazbeni program sastavljen od različi�h glazbenih sadržaja. Koncertni program Kaštelanskog kulturnog ljeta upotpunit će pozna� glumac i glazbenik Ivo Perkušić portugalskom glazbom u novom ruhu povezujući ju s dalma�nskom tradicijom. Uz glumački dar Ivo Perkušić se potvrdio i kao izvrstan interpretator glazbe koja dira srce i dušu i postaje univerzalni jezik ljubavi.

POČINJE KLAPSKOM PJESMOM, A ZAVRŠAVA KONCERTOM NENE BELANA

Kada se u nedjelju 30. lipnja podigne zastava Kaštelanskog kulturnog ljeta i gradonačelnik Denis Ivanović proglasi otvorenim najveću kulturnu manifestaciju u Kaštelima, uslijedit će veliki koncert klapa. Bit će to najava čitavog niza različi�h kulturnih događanja koje će organizira� Grad Kaštela, Turis�čka zajednica, Muzej i Knjižnica te brojne kaštelanske udruge. Od sredine lipnja pa sve do početka rujna na kaštelanskim trgovima, rivama i u kaštelima odvijat će se glazbeni, kazališni, plesni i drugi kulturni događaji.U petak 30. kolovoza na Igrišću, u Kaštel Štafiliću, Neno Belan i njegovi Fiumensi uz Zagrebačku filharmoniju održat će veliki koncert. Tim će događajem na simboličan način završi� Kaštelansko kulturno ljeto 2019.

KAŠTELA CULTURAL SUMMER 2019

Musical, theatre, dancing and other cultural events shall be presented on Kaštela’s squares, waterfronts and castles from the middle of June �ll the end of September.

When on Sunday, 30 June, the flag of Kaštela Culture Summer rises and the mayor Denis Ivanović proclaims the greatest cultural event in Kaštela open, the big concert of ‘klapa’ will follow.

IT STARTS WITH A CAPELLA SONG AND ENDS WITH CONCERT OF NENO BELAN

It is going to be the announcement of numerous cultural events organized by the Town of Kaštela, the Tourist Board, the Museum and the Library and also a number of Kaštela’s associa�ons.

On Friday, 30 August, on Igrišće in Kaštel Štafilić, Neno Belan and his Fiumens, accompanied by the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra will give us a big concert. This event shall symbolically end the Kaštela Cultural Summer 2019.

In the eve of the Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croa�an Defenders, on Sunday, 4 August, at the dock in Kaštel Stari, the famous Croa�an group Opća opasnost will have a big concert.

In order for everyone to find something they like, this year again our musical program consists of different musical genres. The concert program of Kaštela Cultural Summer shall be enriched by the famous actor and musician Ivo Perkušić performing Portuguese music in a new light connec�ng it to Dalma�an tradi�on. Along with gi� of ac�ng, Ivo Perkušić confirmed himself also as an excellent interpreter of music that touches heart and soul and thus becomes the universal language of love.

STO GODINA ZAGREBAČKOG KVARTETA

Grupa Ciotog i ovog će ljeta izves� koncert sastavljen od tradicionalnih irskih melodija i pjesama. Karakteris�ka izvedbe ove splitske grupe korištenje je velikog broja irskih instrumenata te če�ri muška vokala. Kombinacija raznih formi melodija i pjesama obično drže publiku �jekom cijele večeri ak�vnim sudionikom koncerta. Tome doprinosi činjenica da se radi o plesnoj glazbi koja je akus�čna i svira se na licu mjesta bez dodatnih efekata i pojačala.

TRADICIONALNA IRSKA MELODIJA

Ove godine Zagrebački kvatret slavi stotu obljetnicu. Tim povodom održat će cjelovečernji koncert 19. srpnja u dvorištu kaštela Vi�uri, a na programu su djela L. van Beethovena te norveškog skladatelja E. Griega. Nastupaju braća Davor i Hrvoje Philips te Mar�n Jordan i Mar�n Krpan.Podsje�mo kako su prvotnu četvorku slavnog Zagrebačkog kvatreta činili violinis� Vaclav Huml i Milan Graf, violist Ladislav Miranov i violončelist Umberto Fabri. Proteklo je čitavo stoljeće djelovanja ovog kvarteta, a svoj doprinos njegovu radu dalo je tridesetak glazbenika među kojima su Stjepan Šulek, Josip Klima, Zlatko Balija, Đorđe Trkulja, Marija Cobenzl, Goran Bakrač, Ante Živković, Josip Stojanović, Goran Končar, Sergej Evseev i drugi. Današnji sastav čine Mar�n Maras, braća Hrvoje i Davor Philips te Mar�n Jordan.Zagrebački kvartet odsvirao je preko 4.000 koncerata na svim kon�nen�ma, snimio više od 60 nosača zvuka za razne svjetske izdavačke i radijske kuće kao npr. HUNDRED YEARS OF ZAGREB QUARTET

Let us remind you that the first four members of the famous Zagreb Quartet were violinists Vaclav Huml and Milan Graf, a violinist Ladislav Miranov and a cellist Umberto Fabri. The whole century of their work has passed and their contribu�ons to its work was given by approximately thirty musicians, among them are Stjepan Šulek, Josip Kllima, Zlatko Balija, Đorđe Trkulja, Marija Cobenzl, Goran Bakrač, Ante Živković, Josip Stojanović, Goran Končar, Sergej Evseev and others. Today the Zagreb Quartet is Mar�n Maras, Hrvoje and Davor Philips and Mar�n Jordan. The Zagreb Quartet gave more than 4000 concerts on all con�nents; it recorded more than 60 records for different world publishing and radio houses such as Sastruphon, RCA, Melodicon, Da Camera Magna, Croa�a Records, ALM Records and so on. Among numerous domes�c and foreign acknowledgements we point out the Life Achievement Award “Vladimir Nazor” awarded in 2009.

TRADITIONAL IRISH MELODYCiotog will again give us the concert of tradi�onal Irish melodies and songs. The characteris�c of this group from Split is use of numerous Irish instruments and four male vocals. Combina�on of different forms of melodies and songs usually keeps the audience as ac�ve par�cipants through the whole concert. The fact that this is acous�c dancing music performed on the spot without special effects and magnifiers contributes to this.

This year Zagreb Quartet celebrates its hundredth years of existence. On this occasion the all-evening concert shall be held on 19 July in the courtyard of the Vi�uri Castle, and the program contains the works of Beethoven and a

Norway composer E. Grieg. Brothers Davor and Hrvoje Philips and Mar�n Jordan and Mar�n Krpan shall perform.

VEČERI DALMATINSKE PISMEVečeri dalma�nske pisme 2019. održat će se u subotu i nedjelju 20. i 21. srpnja u Kaštel Kambelovcu. Prvu večer nastupit će Hari Rončević i klapa Cambi kao njegovi gos�. Kaštelanski đir naslov je druge večeri koja ima natjecateljski karakter.

KLASIKA NA KAŠTELANSKOM KULTURNOM LJETUU organizaciji Međunarodne ljetne škole glazbe priredit će se više koncerata, a Udruga Sv. Jeronim nastavlja s već prepoznatljivim ciklusom Glazbene večeri kod sv. Jeronima u čijem sklopu će se održa� če�ri koncerta.Cjelovečernji program nazvan Igre u suton za solo gitaru zamišljen je kao glazbeno-poetski recital posvećen Mediteranu. Program će zajednički izves� glumica Silvana Stanić i gitarist Igor Paro.Joško Tranfić, Ana Opačak i Saša Jakelić najavili su Koncert arija, šansona i kancona. Koncert je sastavljen od najljepših i najpopularnijih djela Mozarta, Rossinija, C. Aznavourea, F. Sinatre, L. Pavaro�ja, E. Piaf, I. Tijardovića i drugih. Izvođači će pjeva� na šest svjetskih jezika, što će također bi� zanimljivo i privlačno brojnim kaštelanskim gos�ma.Već dobro pozna� koncert Arije pod zvijezdama kreira sopranis�ca Antonija Teskera sa svojim gos�ma, redom pozna�m opernim umjetnicima.Na Kaštelanskom kulturnom ljetu gostovat će i pijanist Marin Limić koji će priredi� Klavirski recital te zapaženi mladi i iznimno uspješni gitarist Filip Mišković. Koncert klasične glazbe održat će mezzosopranis�ca Bjanka Ivas i pijanis�ca Ivana Š�mac koje već godinama uspješno surađuju.

Nakon provedenog natječaja za nove skladbe za Kaštelanski đir 2019. odabrana je 21 skladba.

CLASSICAL MUSIC IN KAŠTELA CULTURAL SUMMER

Joško Tranfić, Ana Opačak and Saša Jakelić announced the Concert of Arias, Chansons and Canzone. The concert consists of the most beau�ful and the most popular works of Mozart, Rossini, C. Aznavour, F. Sinatra. L. Pavaro�, E. Piaf, I. Tijardović and others. Performers will sing in

six different languages what will be especially interes�ng and appealing to numerous Kaštela’s guests. Already well-known Arias under Stars is created by the soprano singer Antonija Teskera with her guests, all well-known opera ar�sts. During Kaštela Cultural Summer, the pianist Marin Limić is our guest and he shall perform the Piano Recital with the young, extremely successful guitarist Filip Mišković. Mezzo-soprano Bjanka Ivas and Ivana Š�mac, a pianist, whose successful coopera�on lasts for many years now, will give us the concert of classical music.

DALMATIAN SONGS’ NIGHTS

Organized by the Interna�onal Summer School, people and visitors of Kaštela will enjoy in many concerts and Associa�on of St. Jeronim will con�nue with its recognisable series the Musical Nights at St. Jeronim’s with four new concerts. All-evening program named Games at Dusk for Guitar Solo is conceived as musical-poe�c recital dedicated to the Mediterranean. The program is performed in complete by Silvana Stanić, an

actress and Igor Paro, a guitarist.

Nights of Dalma�an Songs 2019 will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 20 and 21 of July, in Kaštel Kambelovac. The first night we will hear Hari Rončević and as guests the Klapa Cambi. Kaštelanski đir is the �tle of the second night with compe��on of different groups of singers, klapa. A�er conduc�ng the compe��on for new songs, we have chosen 21 composi�ons for Kaštelanski đir 2019.

VEČER POSVEĆENA JAKŠI FIAMENGU„Jakša Fiamengo je bio neobičan umjetnik, koji je dos�gao vrhunac umjetničkog, pjesničkog izražaja. Objavio je pedeset knjiga i postao akademik, a istovremeno njegovi su s�hovi postali toliko slavni kroz interpretacije naših velikih pjevača kao što su: Oliver Dragojević, Tereza Kesovija, Radojka Šverko, Tedi Spalato, Meri Ce�nić i mnogi drugi.“Napisala je to u svom projektnom prijedlogu za Kaštelansko kulturno ljeto Ksenija Prohaska sa željom da njezina Umjetnička organizacija priredi Večer posvećenu Jakši Fiamengu . Bit će to večer u kojoj će uz interpretaciju njegovih najpopularnijih pjesama i recitaciju s�hova oživje� duh Jakše Fiamenga te ispriča� njegov život, kao prijatelj koji ga je poznavao če�ri desetljeća.

Priča o Miljenku i Dobrili smještena je u drugu polovicu 17. stoljeća u Kaštel Lukšić gdje su živjele obitelji Vi�uri i Rušinić u svojim roman�čnim kaštelima. Mali Miljenko (Rušinić) i Dobrila (Vi�uri) bili su prijatelji i na kraju se zaljubili. Njihovi roditelji, koji su se u međuvremenu posvađali, nisu im dozvolili druženje ni� vjenčanje, a nakon bijega zaljubljenih i niza zapleta, koje samo ljubav može da�, roditelji su pristali na vjenčanje u K. Lukšiću. Kaštelanski ljubavnici prihva�li su roditeljsku ponudu. Među�m, Dobrilin otac, knez Radoslav, nikako se nije mogao pomiri� s činjenicom da je Miljenko ipak pobijedio i da će odves� njegovu Dobrilu, kao svoju suprugu, u njihov novi dom, kaštel plemićke obitelji Rušinić. Obuzet nesavladivom mržnjom i osvetom, večer nakon vjenčanja dvoje mladih u ljeto 1690. godine, knez Radoslav je na mostu ispred svog kaštela u Kaštel Lukšiću ubio svog zeta hitcem iz kubure.Nekoliko mjeseci nakon nemilog događaja Dobrila je od silne tuge izgubila razum, razboljela se i umrla. Njezina posljednja želja bila je da je pokopaju kraj Miljenka u crkvici Sv. Ivana na Rušincu, koja potječe iz 16. st.. U toj se crkvici danas nalazi nadgrobna ploča na kojoj piše "Pokoj ljubovnikom". U Kaštel Lukšiću se osim njihova groba nalazi i izvorni Dobrilin kaštel Vi�uri iz XV. – XVI. st., Miljenkov kaštel Rušinić iz XV.st te stara crkva iz 1530.god. u kojoj su vjenčani. Prema ovoj legendi napisani su roman, drama i opera.

LEGENDA O MILJENKU I DOBRILI

“Jakša Fiamengo was an unusual ar�st who reached the peak of his ar�s�c, poe�c expression. He published fi�y books and became an academician and at the same �me his verses became so popular through interpreta�ons of our great singers such as Oliver Dragojević, Tereza Kesovija, Radojka Šverko, Tedi Spalato, Meri Ce�nić and many others.” This was wri�en by Ksenija Prohaska in her project sugges�on for Kaštela Cultural Summer, wishing for her Ar�s�c Organiza�on to prepare the Evening Dedicated to Jakša Fiamengo. It will be the night when through the interpreta�on of his most popular songs and the recita�on of verses the spirit of Jakša Fiamnego will come alive and tell his life story, as a friend who knew him for four decades.

The story of MIljenko and Dobrila happens in the second part of the 17th century in Kaštel Lukšić where the Vi�uri and Rušinić families lived in their roman�c castles. Young Miljenko (Rušinić) and Dobrila (Vi�uri) were friends and finally they fell in love. Their parents, who had an argument, did not allow their friendship or wedding, and a�er their elopement and a line of twists that only love can create, parents agreed to the wedding in Kaštel Lukšić. Lovers from Kaštela accepted their parents’ offer. However, Dobrila father, lord Radoslav could not come to terms with the fact that Miljenko won and that he shall take his Dobrila, as his wedded wife, to their new home, the castle of the noble family Rušinić. Possessed by uncontainable hatred and desire for revenge, the night before the wedding of two young people in summer 1690, with a flintlock pistol on the bridge in front of his castle in Kaštel Lukšić he killed his son-in-law. A few months a�er the grievous event, out of tremendous sadness, Dobrila lost her mind, got sick and died. Her last wish was to be buried next to Miljenko in the small church of St. John in Rušinac which originates from the 16th century. Their tombstone can s�ll be seen there, with the inscrip�on: "Lovers, rest in peace". In Kaštel Lukšić, besides their grave, there s�ll stand the authen�c castle of Dobrila, the Vi�uri Castle from the 15th to 16th century and also Miljenko’s the Rušinić Castle from the 15th century and the old church from 1530 where the lovers got married. Novel, drama and opera were inspired by this legend.

‘I will tell you a story …’ Exhibi�on en�tled ‘I will tell you a story …’ comes from the Archaeological Museum in Zadar, the author is Timka Alihodžić, a senior curator. Through 8 panels and showcases with exhibited material, the author tells the story of burial customs in ancient Zadar and based on the results acquired by the anthropological analyses and grave goods, she tries to reconstruct the life of people whose graves are presented by this exhibi�on. Alongside the panels there is one showcase with exhibited material from the grave discovered in the area of Polyclinic in 2014, and also there are few showcases with representa�ve goods found in discovered graves. The important place in this exhibi�on also belongs to the showcase presen�ng copies of goods that will be available for tac�le sensa�on to visually impaired persons. Short legends are wri�en in Braille.Chosen parts of texts from the catalogue are recorded on CD intended for the visually impaired persons. Another curiosity of this exhibi�on is in addi�on of one grave of the host museum. The Museum of the Twon of Kaštela shall present one grave from the Kr�ne locality in Kaštel Sućurac. The exhibi�on toured in Sarajevo, Nin, Zagreb, Novalja, Slavonski Brod, Vukovar, Pula. Vid (Narona), Beograd and in the archaeological park Viminacium.

Manifestacija će ima� humanitarni karakter, prikupljat će se dobrovoljni prilozi za potrebite sugrađane.

Izložba naslova 'Ispričat ću � priču...' potječe iz Arheološkog muzeja Zadar, autorica je viša kustosica Timka Alihodžić. Kroz 8 panoa i vitrina s izloženim materijalom autorica priča priču o običajima pokapanja u an�čkom Zadru te na osnovi rezultata antropološke analize i grobnih priloga pokušava rekonstruira� život ljudi čiji su grobovi prezen�rani na izložbi. Uz panoe izložbu čine i jedna vitrina s izloženim materijalom iz groba pronađenog na prostoru Poliklinike 2014. godine te nekoliko vitrina s reprezenta�vnim prilozima pronađenim u grobovima. Na izložbi značajno mjesto zauzima i vitrina s kopijama predmeta, koji će bi� dostupni za tak�lni osjet osobama oštećenog vida. Kratke legende napisane su Brailleovim pismom. Odabrani dijelovi teksta iz kataloga snimljeni su na CD namijenjen osobama oštećenog vida.Još jedna osobitost izložbe je u dodatku jednog groba muzeja domaćina. MGK će izloži� jedan grob s lokaliteta Kr�ne iz Kaštel Sućurca.Izložba je gostovala u Sarajevu, Ninu, Zagrebu, Novalji, Slavonskom Brodu, Vukovaru, Puli, Vidu (Narona), Beogradu i arheološkom parku Viminacium.

DIONIZIJSKI PLES, jedan slikar – jedan kiparMuzej grada Kaštela predstavlja hrvatskog, svjetski poznatog slikara, grafičara i akademika Borisa Bućana i renomiranog kipara Petra Dolića iz poznate zbirke Dagmar Meneghello. Zbirka, koju stvara gospođa Meneghello od 1967. godine na otočiću Palmižani, ima preko 5000 umjetničkih djela što je čini značajnom u ukupnom nacionalnom umjetničkom korpusu. Bit će izloženo 30 slika velikog formata i 14 skulptura. Boris Bućan bit će predstavljen temama: "Rijeke Femine", "Otoci Filosi", "Mediteransko raslinje", " Mjesečina"…, a Petar Dolić ikonografijom Mediterana, morskim bes�jarijem, temama ženskog �jela, anđela i portreta… "Kada govorimo o Bućanovim slikarskim poglavljima – ne mislimo samo na rukopisna raspoloženja i jezične sintakse – mislimo na polja (Deleuze&Gua�arijeve plateaui) doživljajnih intenziteta koji za sobom povlače podrijetlo i narav oblika, metafore i značenja. Raspoznajemo svojevrsnu sinkronu geografiju ili leksičku topografiju ili nadzbiljnu oniriju različi�h podneblja i različite flore i faune – od tropskih do mediteranskih i od pus�njskih do prašumskih. Njihove seme i mneme gnijezde se u čahurama psihizma od prapovijes� do povijes�, postpovijes� i pripovijes�. DIONYSIAN DANCE, one painter – one sculptorThe Museum of the Town of Kaštela presents Croa�an, world famous painter, graphic ar�st and academician Boris Bućan and also renowned sculptor Petar Dolić from the famous collec�on of Dagmar Meneghello. The collec�on, created by Mrs. Meneghello from 1890 on the island of Palmižana, consists of more than 5000 artworks what makes it important in the total na�onal ar�s�c corpus. 30 big pain�ngs and 14 sculptors will be exhibited.

Boris Bućan will be presented with topics: ‘Rivers of Femina’, ‘The Islands of Filosi’, ‘Mediterranean Vegeta�on’, ‘Moonlight’ …. and Petar Dolić with the Mediterranean iconography, sea bes�ary, topics of female body, angels and portraits …

‘This young man (Petar Dolić) likes wood but his shapes in declining raw dimension point to the poe�c version; more lyrical than epic possibility of shape. Speechlessness of his irascible creatures who fight to keep their beings is completely obvious … That is the sculpture with beings and shapes of very old knowledge and beliefs; it communicates with pile dwellings and arks, with places of daydreaming that don’t jerk in shapes which are difficult to define gender but it is possible to make the connec�on between them and the archetypes and signs of the primary, simple, pure and tame.’ (Ive Šimat Banov)

‘When we speak of Bućan’s pain�ng chapters – we don’t think only on manuscript moods and language syntax – we think on fields (Deleuze&Gua�ari plateau) of experien�al intensity that entails origin and nature of form, metaphor and meaning. We differen�ate so-called synchronic geography or lexical topography or fantas�c oneiric of different climates and different flora and fauna – from tropical to Mediterranean and from dessert to rainforest ones. Their seme and meme are nested in cocoons of psychic since pre-history to history, post-history and story. It is found in the intui�on of the mythic, archetype and cultural, in the osmosis and antagonisms of anime and animus, and some�mes in their apparently happy copula�ons that are spread around on the planimetrics of rhizome – decentred space where every migra�ng seed can become a new climate. NA BRCUAmatersko kazalište Moreta pripremilo je novu predstavu Na brcu u kojoj prikazuju nekadašnji život na brcu, tradicionalni život kaštelanskih težaka, ljudi iz zaleđa, turista koji dolaze u malo misto. Predstava budi sjetan odnos na to vrijeme i simpa�je prema bliskos� koje su tada vladale među ljudima. Glumi se na kaštelanskoj štokaviziranoj čakavici, koju članovi AK Moreta njeguju od početka svoga rada.

BRODOLOMKEU koprodukciji Kazališta Moruzgva i Ludens Teatra nastala je predstava Brodolomke, koju je režirao Krešimir Dolenčić.„Brodolomke su dirljiva i tragikomična priča o če�ri žene zarobljene na jednom mjestu. Iako različi�h životnih priča, sudbina ih poveže na najneobičniji način. Stvaraju se novi životni obrasci kroz učenje o sebi, dok ih sve povezuje ovisnost.“

KAZALIŠNE PREDSTAVE

PARKOVI I NASLADIKaštelansko kazalište organizirat će projekt Parkovi i nasladi , koji se sastoji od dvaju dijelova. U prvom dijelu nastupit će kolek�v splitskih stand-up komičara Splitcka scena, koju čine Ante Travizi, Ivica Lazaneo, Ivo Musulin, Josip Škiljo, Tomislav Primorac i Vanja Dobrijević. ON BRCE

The theatre from Kaštela will organize the project Parks and Delights which consists of two parts. The first part belongs to the group of stand-up comedians from Split, Splitska scena, and they are Ante Travizi, Ivica Lazaneo, Ivo Musulin, Josip Škiljo, Tomislav Primorac and Vanja Dobrijević. The second part of the evening belongs to duo of acous�c guitars, Toni and Ivan Jurić.

‘Castaways are touching and tragicomic story of three women captured in one place. Although they all have different life stories, des�ny connected them in the most peculiar way. New life pa�erns are created through learning about themselves while they are all connected by addic�on.

The amateur theatre Moreta prepared a new play ‘On Brce’ which depicts life in the main square as it once was, the tradi�onal life of Kaštela peasants, people from the inlands. Tourists that come to visit and the small place by the sea. The play evokes wis�ul thinking of those �mes and sympathies toward closeness that once existed among people. The play is acted in Kaštela’s original speech cherished by the members of the amateur theatre Moreta from the beginning of their work.

FESTIVAL ŠALŠA I SALSA - jedinstvena i nadasve zabavna manifestaciju, koju tradicionalno organiziraju Udruga Šušur i Turis�čka zajednica Kaštela na Igrišću u Kaštel Štafiliću. Ljubitelji zrelih i mirisnih crvenih plodova rajčica uživaju pripremajući šalšu, ali i plešući salsu. Početak rujna najbolje je vrijeme za uživanje u okusima zrelih rajčica ali i zanosnim južnoameričkim ritmovima salse.

PREDSTAVE KAŠTELANSKIH UDRUGA - Osim gostujućih kazališta, s dječjim programima nastupit će i sva domaća društva sa svojim programima za djecu: KUD Karol Wojtyla, SAU Putalj, Kaštelansko dječje kazalište Škatula, GSU Kaštelansko kazalište, te dramska grupa Bubice koja djeluje u sklopu Udruge tjelesnih invalida Kaštela.

ENO – GASTRO KAŠTELA - organizira Udruženje obrtnika Kaštela. Ova zanimljiva manifestacija održat će se 29. lipnja 2019. na Portu u Kaštel Starom. Suradnja kaštelanskih obrtnika i njihovih gos�ju iz svih hrvatskih regija rezul�rat će predstavljanjem autohtonih jela i proizvoda te raznim delicijama. Večernjim zabavnim programom završit će njihovo cjelodnevno druženje na koje su pozvani svi zainteresirani građani i turis�.

TONKA BONTONKA je kazališna predstava za djecu koju izvode glumci Gradskog kazališta Scena Gorica iz Velike Gorice. Namijenjena je djeci od 4 do 10 godina, traje 45 minuta, a spada u eduka�vne kazališne programe s ciljem odgajanja mlade publike i promicanja ljudskih vrijednos�.PRAVI PRIJATELJ je lutkarski mjuzikl za djecu uzrasta do 5. razreda osnovne škole. Predstavu izvodi Umjetnička organizacija Produkcija Z, čiji izvođači su ujedno glumci koji se maksimalno angažiraju u interak�vnom odnosu s mališanima u publici.

Museum

The seat of the Municipal Museum of Kaštela is located in one of the best-preserved fortresses in Kaštela – Vi�uri Castle. Kaštela are the second city by popula�on in Split-Dalma�a County, comprised of seven villages spreading along the coast of the Kaštela Bay. Each village originated during the period of the O�oman threat, when the nobility and the Church from the surrounding ci�es of Split and Trogir built their castles to protect the popula�on against the O�oman a�acks. Apart from the Modern era historical cores, there is a whole range of archaeological sites dated to prehistoric �mes, Classical An�quity and Middle Ages within the area of Kaštela.

The Municipal Museum of Kaštela was founded in 1999, through restructuring of the Regional Museum of Kaštela, which had originated from the Studin Gallery (founded in 1988). The richness of the cultural heritage of the Kaštela area is reflected in the work of the museum, which contributes to preserva�on of cultural heritage of this area by gathering and represen�ng the material. There are Archaeological, Cultural-historical, Modern and Contemporary Art, Pedagogical, Documenta�on, as well as Restora�on and Conserva�on departments opera�ng within the Museum. The permanent exhibi�on of the museum is located in the Vi�uri Castle in Kaštel Lukšić, and in 2012, a permanent exhibi�on was opened at the Archbishop’s castle in Kaštel Sućurac. The museum takes care of two archaeological sites: the remains of an ancient se�lement of Siculi at Resnik and Mujina cave in Labinska draga.

Sjedište Muzeja grada Kaštela nalazi se u jednoj od najbolje očuvanih kaštelanskih utvrda-kaštelu Vi�uri. Kaštela su drugi grad po broju stanovnika u Splitsko-dalma�nskoj županiji, sa sedam naselja razmještenih duž obale Kaštelanskog zaljeva. Svako naselje nastalo je �jekom razdoblja turske opasnos�, kada su plemstvo i Crkva iz okolnih gradova Splita i Trogira, podiglisvoje kaštele u svrhu zaš�te stanovništva od turskih napada.

Osim novovjekih povijesnih jezgri, na kaštelanskom prostoru postoji niz arheoloških lokaliteta iz prapovijesnog, an�čkog i srednjovjekovnog razdoblja. Muzej grada Kaštela osnovan je 1999. god., a nastao je preustrojem Zavičajnog muzeja Kaštela, koji je izrastao iz rada galerije Studin (osnovane 1988. godine). Bogatstvo kulturne baš�ne kaštelanskog prostora ogleda se i u radu muzeja, koji prikupljajući i prezen�rajući građu doprinosi očuvanju kulturne baš�ne ovog prostora.

Vi�uri Castle in Kaštel Lukšić

The castle itself with its surrounding historical core is well preserved, and in the period between the year of 1993 and 2001, its appearance from the beginning of the 18th century has been restored. The castle was in its most representa�ve stage in that period.

During the research works, defensive moat and a stone bridge in front of the northern entrance were rediscovered.

The Castle was built by the noble family Vi�uri, at the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th century. Due to frequent O�oman a�acks, it was necessary to protect the local popula�on, which had been living in the medieval village of Ostrog at the slopes of the Kozjak Mountain before the construc�on of the Castle. Along with the castle, a small, for�fi ed se�lement was also formed, and its folk stone architecture and space organiza�on has been preserved �ll this day.

Unutar muzeja djeluje arheološki, kulturno-povijesni, odjel moderne i suvremene umjetnos�, pedagoški, dokumentacijski i restauratorski odjel. Stalni postav muzeja smješten je u dvorcu (kaštelu) Vi�uri u Kaštel Lukšiću., a od 2012. god. otvoren je i postav u nadbiskupskom kaštelu u Kaštel Sućurcu. Muzej brine i o dva arheološka nalazišta: ostacima an�čkog naselja Sikuli u Resniku i o Mujinoj pećini u Labinskoj dragi.

Kaštel Vi�uri u Kaštel Lukšiću

Sam kaštel sa okolnom povijesnom jezgrom dobro je očuvan, a obnovom u razdoblju od 1993. do 2001. god., vraćen mu je izgled s početka 18. st.Tada je bio u svojoj najreprezenta�vnijoj fazi i danas predstavlja kulturni centar Grada Kaštela. Tijekom istražnih radova ponovno je otkriven obrambeni jarak ikameni most ispred sjevernog ulaza.Kaštel je izgradila plemićka obitelj Vi�uri, krajem 15. i �jekom prve polovice 16. st. Uslijed čes�h turskih napada bilo je nužno zaš�� domaće stanovništvo, koje je do izgradnje kaštela živjelo u srednjovjekovnom selu Ostrog napadinama Kozjaka.Uz kaštel je formirano manje utvrđeno naselje sa do danas sačuvanom pučkom kamenom arhitekturom i organizacijom prostora.

Stalni postav muzeja nalazi se na drugom katu kaštela Vi�uri, a otvoren je 2008. godine. Postav se sastoji iz dva dijela; kulturno-povijesnog (južno krilo) i arheološkog (istočno krilo) sa 679 izložaka. Između ova dva dijela stalnog postava

Permanent museum display

The permanent museum display is located at the second floor of the Castle Vi�uri, and it was opened in 2008. The display is comprised of two parts: cultural-historical (southern wing) and archaeological (eastern wing), with a total amount of 679 exhibits. Between those two parts, there is a gallery with a lapidarium. Development of the individual castles and urbanism of the Kaštela villages, as well as the representa�on of defence against the O�omans through the weapon collec�on, are shown in the cultural-historical part. The life of the noble families of Kaštela, as well as folk costumes, is represented in a separate part.

Within the archaeological part of the permanent exhibi�on, there are valuable archaeological finds dated to Prehistory, Classical An�quity and the Middle Ages. Lithic artefacts of the Mousterian culture discovered in Mujina cave (45000-39000 BC) are of a special interest, as well as the numerous finds from the ancient se�lement of Siculi and the sepulchral contribu�ons from the Early Croa�an necropolae.

The Archiepiscopal Palace in Kaštel Sućurac

The historical core of Kaštel Sućurac was formed at the end of the 15th century around the tower constructed by Andrija Benzi, the Archbishop of Split, in 1392 in the area called Lučac. In 1489, next to the tower whose founda�ons are s�ll visible

U kulturno-povijesnom dijelu prezen�ran je razvoj pojedinih kaštela i urbanizam kaštelanskih naselja, kao i prikaz obrane od Turaka sa zbirkom oružja. U odvojenom dijelu prikazan je život plemenitaških kaštelanskih obitelji i kaštelanskanarodna nošnja.U arheološkom dijelu stalnog postava prezen�rani su vrijedni arheološkinalazi iz razdoblja. Posebno su zanimljivi li�čki Mujinoj pećini (45000-39000 god. pr. Kr.), brojni nalazi iz an�čkog naselja Sikuli i grobni prilozi iz starohrvatskih nekropola.

Nadbiskupski kaštel u Kaštel Sućurcu

Povijesna jezgra Kaštel Sućurca formira se krajem 15. st. oko kule koju je 1392. podigao splitski nadbiskup Andrija Benzi na predjelu zvanom Lučac. today, the Archbishop of Split Bartolomeo Averoldo constructed a defensive complex Kaš�lac in which the Archiepiscopal Palace was the central part. En�re Kaš�lac was well for�fi ed with a wall, and its ba�lements have been par�ally preserved. On the second fl oor of the Archiepiscopal Palace, there are museum premises with rich cultural-historical and archaeological collec�ons. Since 2012, the archaeological department of the Museum has been located here.

Towards the permanent display

The exhibi�on en�tled “Towards thepermanent display” has been organized on the second fl oor of the Archiepiscopal Palace. It is comprised of two parts: cultural-historical and archaeological, with 128 exhibits. The exhibited material depicts the wealth of the movable cultural heritage of Kaštel Sućurac. The largest part of the material originates from the collec�on of the associa�on Podvorje, which was in charge of its maintenance up un�l 2012. Part of the exhibited archaeological material has been discovered during the excava�ons of the employees of the archaeological department of the Municipal Museum of Kaštela (Kr�ne, Brižine and Trstenik) and of the Museum of Croa�an Archaeological Monuments (Putalj). Among the exhibits, the fi nds from the Bronze Age hillfort at Putalj and early-Romanesque arch of the altar par��on (a so called Arch from Sućurac) are especially no�ceable.

Sadrži dva dijela: kulturno-povijesni i arheološki sa 138 izložaka.Kroz izloženi materijal prikazano jebogatstvo pokretne kulturne baš�ne iz Kaštel Sućurca. Veći dio materijala potječe iz zbirke koju je prikupila udruga Podvorje, koja se do 2012. god. brinula o njoj.

Dio izloženog arheološkog materijala pronađen je istraživanjima djelatnika arheološkog odjela Muzeja grada Kaštela (Kr�ne, Brižine i Trstenik) i Muzeja hrvatskih arheoloških spomenika (Putalj). Od eksponata u postavu izdvajaju se nalazi s brončanodobne gradine na Putalju i predromanički luk oltarne pregrade (tzv. sućuraćki luk).

Treasury of the parish church in Kaštel Štafilić

Movable parts of the ecclesias�cal heritage of the Parish Church of the Immaculate Concep�on of the Blessed Virgin Mary are exhibited in the Treasury. Vo�ve gi�s (so called Our Lady’s gold), filigree handmade jewellery, as well as modest but valuable liturgical objects made of silver, books and pain�ngs are exhibited next to the pain�ng of Our Lady. In most part, these are the imported works of the Vene�an provenance and of Austrian jewellers, as well as of local ar�sans from Split, Trogir and Kaštela. These items were acquired and donated by confraterni�es and individualsOpen by appointment.

Mujina cave

Mujina cave holds traces of presence of the Neanderthal men in this area. It is located within the karst environment around Labinska draga, which historically served as an important communica�on route with the hinterlands. For that reason, several archeological sites from different periods can be found here. In the approximate vicinity of the cave, there are also the remains of the Roman road wich connected Siculi with the hinterlands.The cave is of small dimensions with a big entrance facing the south-east. Small plateau in front of the entrance enables good control of the surrounding area, which was important to praehistoric men because it helped them no�ce the animal heards that used to inhabit this area. Riznica župne crkve u Kaštel Štafiliću

U Riznici su izloženi pokretni dijelovi crkvene baš�ne Župne crkve Bezgrješnog začeća Blažene Djevice Marije.

Uz Gospinu sliku izloženi su zavjetni darovi (tzv. Gospino zlato), filigranski ručno rađeni nakit kao i skromni, ali vrijedni liturgijski predme� od srebra, knjige i slike. To su često uvezeni radovi venecijanske provenijencije i austrijskih zlatara te domaćih majstora iz Splita, Trogira i Kaštela. Navede predmete su nabavljale su bratovš�ne i darivali pojedinci. Mujina pećina

Tragovi prisutnos� neandertalca na ovom prostoru sačuvani su u Mujinoj pećini. Smještena je u sačuvanom prirodnom krškom okolišu Labinske drage, koja je kroz prošlost bila važna komunikacija prema zaleđu. Sa manjeg platoa ispred pećine moguća je dobra kontrola okolnog prostora, što je pračovjeku bilo važno zbog mogućnos� ranog zapažanja krda živo�nja koje su tada nastanjivale ovaj

39000 BC. Within the 2 metres deep layers, various lithic artefacts and animal bones have were discovered. They tes�fy about the ac�vi�es performed by the neanderthals within the cave, and numerous animal bons tell us about their diet. While the cave was being used, the climate was significantly colder and sea level about 90 metres lower.

Classical An�quity se�lement of Siculi

The remains of the Classical An�quity se�lement of Siculi are located in Resnik, next to Kaštel Štafilić, at the mouth of the eponymous creek. It has been men�oned in numerous historical sources, and the Roman Emperor Claudius se�led his military veterans here in the mid-1st century BC. During many years of archaeological research, it has been established that this se�lement spread over the area of 36.000 m2 and that it was founded in the 2nd century BC. At this �me, the surroundings of the Kaštela Bay were the stage for very dynamic events related to Greeks from Issa, Romans and Delmatae. Apart from the remains of the evenly organized residen�al blocks and streets, a smaller part of the for�fica�on walls and underwater docks that are today submerged into the sea have also been preserved. It is assumed that the layout was rectangular, with a surface of 3.6 ha. Residen�al blocks were extremely long, around 13 metres wide. The se�lement was destroyed during the second half of the 1st century BC, as evidenced by the remains of the collapsed roof structures and soot found in most of the researched houses. Apart from the ancient docks, the remains of a Palaeolithic site and Neolithic se�lement are also located underwater, in front of the mouth of the creek.

Svjedoče o djelatnos�ma koje je u pećini obavljao neandertalac, a brojni nalazi živo�njskih kos�ju o prehrani. U vrijeme korištenja pećine klima je bila znatno hladnija, a razina mora oko 90 metara niža.

An�čki Sikuli

Ostaci an�čkog naselja Sikuli nalaze se u Resniku pored Kaštel Štafilića, uz ušće istoimenog potoka. Ono se spominje u brojnim povijesnim izvorima, a rimski car Klaudije ovdje je naselio vojne veterane polovicom 1. st. pr. Kr. Dugogodišnjim arheološkim istraživanjima utvrđeno je da se naselje pros�re na površini od oko 36 000 m2 i da je osnovano u 2. st. pr. Kr. Osim ostataka pravilno organiziranih stambenih blokova i ulica, sačuvani je manji dio bedema i danas potopljena podmorska pristaništa. Osim an�čkih pristaništa, u podmorju ispred ušća potoka nalaze se ostaci paleoli�čkog nalazišta i neoli�čkog naselja.

Biranj

Biranj is a stra�fied archeological site located at a prominent peak of Mount Kozjak (631 m) above Kaštela. A praehistoric hillfort, late Classical An�quity Castrum, the sanctuary of the supreme Slavic god Perun and the Romanesque church of Sv. John are located here. The outer bas�on of this prehistoric hillfort is almost 800 meters long and encloses the area of nearly 73.000 m2, which makes it one of the largest hillforts on the eastern Adria�c coast and in the hinterland. The bas�on is made of dry wall and is at some parts up to 12 metres wide. Archaeological research has revealed cultular layers dated to Neolithic and Bronze Age, with a well developed lithic industry.

Biranj

Biranj je slojevito arheološko nalazište na istaknutom kozjačkom vrhuncu (631 m) iznad Kaštela. Ovdje se nalazi prapovijesno gradinsko utvrđenje, kasnoan�čki kastrum, sve�šte vrhunskog slavenskog božanstva Peruna i romanička crkva Sv. Ivana. Vanjski bedem prapovijesne gradine dugačak je gotovo 800 metara i lučno zatvara površinu od gotovo 73 000 m2, što lokalitet svrstava u red površinom najvećih gradinskih utvrđenja na istočnoj jadranskoj obali i zaleđu. Bedemi su suhozidni, a osipina je na pojedinim mjes�ma i do 12 metara široka. Arheološka istraživanja otkrila su kulturne slojeve iz neoli�ka i brončanog doba, sa razvijenom li�čkom industrijom.

Very interes�ng is the group of aroma�c and medicinal plants, plants of rocky terrains and a field with plants of humid habitats.

There is the "li�le park" built in the French style at the northern garden. It is built in strictly symmetrical lines with low box-wood hedges and a rich collec�on of oleanders. There is a stone stage for cultural and ar�s�c events at this place. Olive grove with its 170 trees and 45 domes�c and foreign species of olives is an integral part of the garden. It is the largest collec�on grove on the Croa�an Li�oral.

Soon a�er reloca�on of the primary school in Kaštel Lukšić to the new building in1976, cul�va�on of completely neglected area around the school started. From the very beginning whole work was done by teachers and students.

The park was declared a monument of nature and culture in 1968. In the explana�on of the Regional Ins�tute for Protec�on of Cultural Monuments was wri�en: "The Vi�uri Park with its space and its access from the sea presents a unique monument of our old hor�culture. Such parks are rarely preserved in Dalma�a. Due to this fact this park along with Guče�ć's at Trstenu, Garanjin's at Trogiru and Borelli's at St. Filip and Jakov is a rare monument of our garden architecture".

School Botanical Garden of the Ostrog Primary School

On the 4 hectares of land more than 1400 different plants is growing, origina�ng from all over the world. However, most of the plants originate from Mediterranean subtropical climate. The larger part of the park is arboretum built in the landscape style of an English park.

Spomenikom prirode i kulture je proglašen 1968.godine. U obrazloženju Regionalnog zavoda za zaš�tu spomenika kulture stoji: "Park Vi�uri po svojoj širini i pristupu s mora predstavlja jedinstveni spomenik naše stare hor�kulture. Slični su parkovi u Dalmaciji vrlo rijetko sačuvani, pa se ovaj pored Guče�ćeva u Trstenu, Garanjinova u Trogiru i Borellijeva u Sv. Filipu i Jakovu, može ubroji� u te rijetke spomenike naše vrtne arhitekture".

Najveći dio zauzima perivoj – arboretum, građen u pejzažnom s�lu engleskog perivoja.

Južni vrt je zbog svoje veličine i povoljne mikro-klime najboga�ji dio školskog botaničkog vrta. Tu se nalaze skupine autohtonog i egzo�čnog drveća, grmlja, trajnica i cvjetnica, npr. stabla kamforovca, eukaliptusa, avokada, akacija, sekvoja, libanonskog i himalajskog cedra, jasmina, bugenvile, itd.

Pažnju posje�telja pobuđuje i skupina aroma�čnog i ljekovitog bilja, kamenjara sa sukulentama, te polje s biljkama vlažnih staništa.

Nedugo nakon preseljenja O.Š. u Kaštel Lukšiću u novu zgradu 1976. godine, učenici i nastavnici započeli su s uređenjem potpuno zapuštenog prostornog okoliša. Oko školske zgrade, na površini od 4 hektara raste više od 1400 biljnih sor� koje potječu sa svih strana svijeta i pretežno su iz mediteranskog suptropskog podneblja.

Biblijski vrt Stomorija - sve�šte Gospe od Stomorije

Na vidikovcu sa kojeg se pruža prekrasan pogled na Kaštelansko polje i zaljev, posađen je mali vinograd kao spomenik težaku i lozi. U njemu se, uz ostale autohtone vrste vinove loze, nalazi i Kaštelanski crljenak, u svijetu, posebno u Kaliforniji (SAD) poznat kao Zinfandel, koji potječe iz Kaštela.

U Kaštel Štafiliću raste maslina (olea europea) koju Kaštelani zovu Mastrinka.Stara je preko 1500 godina i pretpostavlja se da je donesena iz južne Italije ili Grčke. Kako su na tom prostoru nekada bili posjedi rimskih veterana, pretpostavlja se da je ona ostatak sa nekog poljoprivrednog dobra onog vremena.

Na južnim padinama Kozjaka je još daleke 1189. godine podignuta crkvica sv. Marije od Špiljana, danas zvane Gospe Stomorija.

Na tom mjestu na kojem se spajaju duhovnost i priroda utemeljen je Biblijski vrt. Tu već stoljećima rastu platane, masline, smokve, vinova loza i biljke koje se spominju u Bibliji. Predanošću zaljubljenika u prirodu zasađene su još mnoge druge vrste kao npr. Judino drvo, lovor, akcija, začinsko i mirisno bilje i dr.

In the year 1189 in Kaštel Novi on the southern slopes of Kozjak a li�le church of Marija od Špiljana, known today as Gospe Stomorija was built.

There is a lookout with a beau�ful view at the Field of Kaštela and the Bay of Kaštela. A small vineyard as a monument of the peasants and vine of Kaštela was planted at the lookout. Among other indigenous species of vine there is the Kaštelanski Crljenak, known worldwide and especially in California (USA) as Zinfandel. The vine from United States originates from Kaštela.

At this place where coexistence of nature and spirituality could be felt, the Biblical Garden was founded. Planes, olives, figs and vine grew there for centuries. These are the plants men�oned in the Bible. Due to the effort of the nature lovers many other plants like Jude’s tree, laurel, acacia, spices, aroma�c herbs and many other plants.

An olive (Olea Europea), more than 1500 years old grows in Kaštel Štafilić, which people of Kaštela call Mastrinka.

The loca�on is open to visitors.

It is considered that it was brought from Southern Italy or Greece. Due to the fact that estates of the Roman were in this area, it was presumed to be a remnant of an agricultural estate from those �mes.
