Mandeville schools as a volunteer andPTA President at Mandeville MiddleSchool under school board superin-tendent Gayle Sloan (principal at thetime); helped organize the first ProjectGraduation in Mandeville; was a formermember of the Junior League ofGreater Covington; and served as presi-dent of Salmen High School FootballBooster Club under Coach Bill Stubbsfor the team that won the 4-A StateChampionship. She will be remem-bered most for her great big long hugsand treating everyone as her bestfriend.

Memorial services were held at FirstBaptist Church of Covington with the

Rev. Waylon Baily officiating.Interment will be in GreenwoodCemetery, Montgomery, Ala., today at 2p.m. with the Rev. Mike Northcutt offi-ciating.
