Laboratory Design

Oleochem Project Management have the capabilities

and experience to design a range of laboratories to suit

the specific facility. Whether an offshore or onshore field

laboratory or indeed a large onshore development e.g.

LNG processing facilities, crude oil terminals/refineries,

required technical input for both BOD and

detailed design phases.

In addition we also provide for the fabrication

and installation of all furniture and fume

requirements.

Laboratory Modules

A modular laboratory solution is a common

answer to offshore facility requirements.

A60 modules, zoned as required, are suited

to all offshore installation types. Laboratory

modules are carefully designed to meet

required operational, health, fire and safety

specifications, and are supplied fully fitted

out with laboratory furniture, test benches,

storage units, fume extraction, pressure

control and HVAC systems.

Modules suited for onshore locations

(including cyclonic regions) are also designed

and fabricated.

Fully-equipped laboratory modules are also

available on a rental basis.

Training and Competency Assessment

Vital to any laboratory operation is the

competency of its personnel. In addition

to providing highly skilled chemists and

multiskilled technicians OPM also provides

training packages and competency

assessment services for your own personnel.

Training

Our preferred training method is in-situ i.e.

using actual sample points and the actual

equipment your personnel will use on a daily

basis. Alternative methods such as classroom

facilitation of learning can also be provided.

Competency Assessors (Internationally

recognised) who provide a full range

competency based services that deliver a

single source solution to ensure your staff are

competent in all laboratory tasks they are to

undertake.

OPM design your laboratory competency

system based upon your own procedural

requirements. Units of Competency,

Assessment modules and tools are tailor

made for your operation. Our pool of

certified assessors then undertake the

assessment of your personnel at your own

Laboratory Procedure and Quality manuals are written

to satisfy the clients individual technical and quality

management system requirements.

Laboratory safety and procedure manuals, designed for

immediate integration to clients LIMS and document

control system, are written to meet all client sampling,

analytical testing and laboratory safety requirements in

accordance with recognised international standards such

as, ASTM, IP, ISO, GPA and APHA.
