This brand new project invites 40 students to create an art or science project focused on one of three energy-related themes:

Energy & Transportation Environmental Management Environmental Sciences

Entries will be judged.Prizes will be awarded.Fun will be delivered.

High school and college students use S.T.E.M. skills to design wind turbine blades. Participants are given blades from a military wind power system originally designed for the high-speed winds of Afghanistan. Teams must redesign and manufacture blades for use in the calmer breezes of Alabama. The team who generates the most electricity wins.
