The flexibility of the radio communication can be used to realize simple installation of luminaires with stand-alone automatic dimming profile. The dimming profile can be re-programmed and modified after the installation thanks to a configuration software running in a laptop with a simple dongle USB device radio-connected to the luminaires.
With this installation, the mesh network is immediately built and ready to be expanded for future use.

A Pir Motion sensor connected to the mesh network can be used to dynamically regulate the light of single or group luminaires. It is possible to enable “light-on-demand” in dynamic contexts using the direct luminaire-to-luminaire radio communication. Typical application could be on cycle paths, in order to have a “following light” effect, or in a pedestrian crossing for regulating and increasing the light levels when a pedestrian is near the zebra crossing. Start-up configuration can be carried out from a configuration software running in laptop with a simple dongle USB device radio-connected to the luminaires. With this installation, the mesh network is immediately built and ready to be expanded for future use.
