The Nissan Micra is the city specialist. It’s light and nimble

engine on the ST or a 1.5 litre engine on the ST-L and Ti models.

Plus a choice of either manual or automatic transmissions

across the range. You’ll also appreciate the smallest turning

Nissan’s Safety Shield® concept is an advanced, proactive approach to

vehicle safety that operates on three tiers. Firstly, the Micra’s excellent

level of visibility, combined with powerful halogen headlights, helps you to

identify and avoid potential hazards. Secondly, a variety of systems aid

you in maintaining control in emergency situations. Vehicle Dynamic

helps stabilise the vehicle if you suddenly over or understeer when trying

to avoid a collision while the Anti-lock Braking System, Electronic

Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist, work together to avoid skidding

and wheel-lock when braking suddenly. Finally, in the event of a collision,

Micra’s zone body construction and a total of six airbags – dual front, side and

curtain – create a protective cocoon to keep you and your passengers safe.
