On September 24-26, 2014 the much anticipated global event, 19th Mexico (Monterrey) International Foundry Industry

Congress & Exhibition was held at Cintermex Exhibition Center (Monterrey City). This exhibition closely keeps pace with the

equipment, casting materials, safety and environmental protection and the entire casting industry chain, with its unique

ABOUT QUERETARO CITY Y CONGRESS CENTER (QCC)

With an innovative concept and cutting-edge the Queretaro Center Conference (QCC) was designed according to international

standards by the architect Teodoro González de León, achieving a 32,000 m2 construction. It was inaugurated on February 5,

2011 and is located only 5 km from the historic centre of the capital city of the State, 2 km from the bus terminal, and only 20 km

from the international airport of Querétaro.

Supported infrastructure of 84 hotels and more than 6,000 rooms with a radius of 20-minute shuttle to events with national and

foreign visitors are currently built more than 500 rooms that will be ready for this year. The QCC is the ideal Centre for events

such as: congresses, conventions, fairs, exhibitions, banquets, among others, that can be conducted in any of the 15 classrooms

distributed in three levels of the compound, the main exhibition area boasts more than 6,000 square meters.

The State of Querétaro is leader of planning in the country based on their growth which goes hand in hand with the creation of

infrastructure services, great industrial development, for its quality of life, cleaning and security. Additionally, it has a privileged

geographical location in the Centre of the country, two hours from the city of Mexico by road and with a great land connection

to the rest of the country, in addition it is recognized worldwide for its colonial architecture, its historic center is a world heritage

site but all coexist in a modern city.

Querétaro is located in the area of the Bajío, in the center of the country, has more than 80 industrial parks and above 2,800

foreign-funded enterprises. This State develop high value-added sectors: Aeronautics, information, automotive, aerospace,

technology, alternative energy and technology. In addition there are more than 155 universities of higher level and more than

245 research and development centers.

Bajio zone is the most successful aeronautical and automotive cluster in Mexico, as well as the fastest growing sectors. The

aerospace Park is aimed at 100% for this sector. Another area is dedicated to the companies Assembly of buses and tractors,

generating more than 234,000 jobs. It represents 18% of the mexican GDP.
