INTRODUCTION

Pipelife Nederland B.V. situated in Enkhuizen (The Netherlands) is part of the European Pipelife Group, a joint venture between Solvay, Brussels and the Austrian Wienerberger Group since 1st January 1995.

As a pioneer in plastics in 1947, under the name of POLVA, the development has been started of electrical conduits. Now complete PVC, PE and PP systems are available for Electrical installations, transport of water, waste, sewerage, gas distribution, drainage, chimney lining etc.

The production and main warehouse are situated in Enkhuizen. The international Research and Development functions for the Pipelife Group are located in the Netherlands where Pipelife Nederland is continuously innovating to improve and to extend their range of products. Considerable effort is also given to the processing of used plastic pipe and fittings materials.

* Unique Pipelife Adapter Fuse technology provides “any angle, any size, any height” inspection chamber inlets/outlet for the major sewer pipe types in dimensions 160, 200, 250 , 315 and 400 mm.

* Pipelife PRO Flow Channel Shell concept provides custom made inlet/outlet 100% flexible configuration each 1°.

* Designed for installations under high ground water level conditions in up to 6 m depth. The complete tightness of joints and welds was observed during 1000 h pressure test with negative and positive pressure of more than 0,5 bar under different temperatures.

* All gasket socket/spigot connections are 100% tight, designed and tested according to EN 1277 and EN 476.

* Base ST inlets/outlet angle could be customized with +7,5° Adjustable Double Socket.

* Parts are light weight products, easy to transport and to install.

* Designed for High Pressure Water Jetting equipment and easy access with CCTV camera into sewer line as well as slope grade laser level.

Stormbox

Water is our dearest asset on earth. Not very strange that water management is a subject with a fast growing attention.

Global warming, periods with intense rainfall follo-wed by severe droughts and a stormy growth of the human population are factors that seem to collide.

And in fact they do. The growing population trans-lates to an explosive growth in build up areas, leaving less space for water to flow freely.

As a result groundwater level problems occur, sewers are overloaded and water treatment plants become less effective.

Pipelife recognized this and introduced a complete family of innovative rainwater infiltration products consisting of:

• Complete assortment of PVC pipes and fittings.• Leave separator.• Road gully with sand and debris collector.• Stormbox.• Geo textiles.

The Stormbox is an innovative new product that finds it’s main application in rainwater infiltration and storage solutions.

With the help of Infiltration Systems of Pipelife groundwater levels will be kept to an acceptable level, the water will be transported to a place were it is not in the way, the existing sewer system will not be overloaded and sewer treatment plants can use their capacity to do what they need to do; clean dirty water!

InstallationIn order to ensure a proper and durable functioning of your infiltration system please take note of follo-wing installation guidelines

• Pipelife can provide you with a program to cal-culate the proper amount of storage capacity.

• Working area needs to be flat and horizontal• Groundwater level minimum 100mm under the

Stormbox• Use a proper geo textile for infiltration• Connection of boxes and box and ground plate

with clips• Make proper connections for the inlets, inspec-

tion and overflow• Make use of the other rainwater infiltration

products to prevent blockage of the system• Use of drainage sand with a minimum of 300mm

around infiltrating area.• Minimal ground coverage with traffic 600mm• Minimal ground coverage without traffic 300mm
